I have had a lot of experiences with The Piano Shop. They tune my home piano and they also tune the pianos at my church. I am a pastor and was serving a church in Indiana and I hired The Piano Shop to tune our piano and then we bought a new piano from them for the church and everyone was really happy with the new sound. When I moved to Louisville I bought a new piano for my home and when I arrived at the church where I am pastor now, I discovered that my new church was already using The Piano Shop for all their piano purchases and tunings. Both Matt and Jim are very knowledgeable technicians, they're prompt, and will give you honest feedback on what needs to be done, cost estimates, and recommended timelines.
More importantly to me, they are part of a select group who have been able to tune my grand beautifully with stretched octaves, bringing out the brilliance and harmonics of this instrument.
