I did an amazing SUP trip with Christine. Her teaching methods are great. Even for absolute beginners or people who are a little bit worried if they could make it she finds the right methods and words to motivate you. I felt safe and happy all the time. You can't go wrong with Christine as an instructor. I did 1:1 kite surfing sessions flowing continuously from level 1 to level 2. Christine cleanly laid out the context of all the safety, setup and kite control movements. It's clear she's not only an expert kite surfer -- she knows how to teach effectively as well. I encouraged my family to buy me kite surfing lessons for my 55th birthday, before I got too old to try this amazing sport. I had my first land and water lesson with Christine on a 1:1 and through the process learnt how challenging this sport actually is! Got me up and riding in 3 lessons. Christine was really friendly and her approach made me feel relaxed and confident. The equipment was great and seemed nearly new. The spot she teaches you from is great - a mostly sandy / flat bottom (boots were provided for the rocky bits). On a day when the wind dropped off I didn't have to pay the full lesson fee which I though was very reasonable. Christine even introduced me to the whatsapp group of riders she has set up with is great for getting help with launching etc. I definitely recommend learning with this school. More...

Kite surfing is fun but it only if it safe and Christine's instruction with emphasis on using correct technique and safety gave me more confidence in my first lesson than other instructors I had used. Her professionalism and good discipline is clearly evident and essential if you are gong to become competent while remaining safe. Level 1 Kitesurf Lesson
Learn to Kitesurf in Worthing on the Sussex Coast, close to Brighton and just an hour from London. The conditions are perfect for beginner lessons with shallow and flat waters plus frequent cross onshore winds.
A level 1 lesson focuses on learning all about the kite and how to fly it. We teach using the latest and most beginner friendly equipment available and everything you need is supplied as part of your lesson.
Once you have successfully mastered handling the kite on land you can go straight in to the water on your Level 2 on your learning to kitesurf journey. We guarantee that your Kitesurfing Lesson Level 1 will really whet your appetite for donning a wetsuit and moving into the water in Level 2!
The group price is for the lesson for 2 people i.e. £130 total price, is £65 per person. You would need to join the lesson as a two together. There could be up to 4 students altogether in your group Level 1 lesson (2 groups of 2). If you are wishing to take lessons just yourself then we suggest the 1:1 lesson option.
Level 2 Kitesurf Lesson
In kitesurfing lesson two you will progress on to the larger kites and move into the water. The group price is for the whole lesson for 2 people i.e. £220 costs £110 per person, £280 costs £140 per person. You would need to join the lesson as a two together. If you are wishing to take lessons just yourself then we suggest the 1:1 lesson option.
You will learn how to control the kite and how to generate power with the kite, to water re launch the kite, how to move yourself through the water using the kite (body drag), and finally how to pack the kite down safely in the water should things not go to plan. You should complete lesson one before taking lesson two, unless you have recent experience of flying power kites. Part of the British Kitesports Association scheme Level 1 - Part 2 - Water Based Flying, Part 3 - Bringing on the Power and Basic Body Dragging and Part 4 - Directional and Upwind Body Dragging.
Level 3 Kitesurf Lesson
In kitesurfing lesson three we progress on to learning to get up and riding on the board using the power of the kite. The group price is for the whole lesson for 2 people i.e. £220 costs £110 per person, £280 costs £140 person. You would need to join the lesson as a two together. If you are wishing to take lessons just yourself then we suggest the 1:1 lesson option.
You will begin by learning how to control the kite and put the board onto your feet in the water, how to maintain your start position with the board on your feet and finally how to do your first board starts by diving the kite to generate enough power to pull you up onto the board. Part of the British Kitesports Association scheme Level 2 - Part 1 - Introduction to Boards and Board Start Technique and Part 2 - First Board Starts.
Zero to Hero Kitesurfing Course
Buy the full monty in one hit! This course is designed to get you from a complete beginner to safely kitesurfing on your own. We teach on Worthing seafront, on the Sussex Coast, close to Brighton and just an hour from London. The conditions here are perfect for both beginner and progression lessons with shallow, flat water and frequent cross onshore winds.
The course includes 9.5 hours of 1:1 Lessons with all the equipment and wetsuit provided for just £499 (that’s less than £53 per hour!). You just need to bring yourself! We teach using the latest equipment available and we use radios attached to your helmet, so your instructor can talk to you at all times!
Level 1 Wingtro Wingsurfing Lesson
LEARN TO WING! The new watersport that's getting everyone hooked on foiling after just a few sessions.
The Group lesson option £150 is for 2 people for 2.5 hours, i.e. £75 each, this is for you if you are joining as a group two people. If you wish to learn on your own please select the 1:1 lesson option.
Learn to Wing Surf and in your further lessons to Wing Foil. Part of the BKSA Learn to Wing Scheme. Maximum ratio of students to instructor will be four students to one instructor for a Group Lesson.
Taught at low tide and therefore flatter water on light to medium wind days at Worthing beach.
The first part of the lesson will be familiarising you with the wing on the beach, what the different parts of the wing are, what size wing to use, how to turn the wing over, how to travel across the wind, upwind and down wind holding the wing. You will also learn what conditions are suitable to go winging and how to check your launch and practice area is safe for winging.
The second part of the lesson will be in the water with the wing and a SUP board with a centre fin, learning how to move forward on the board using the wing, how to change your angle of direction, how to stop and turn around and how to self rescue
