My aim is to give you the time and space to talk these issues through. I focus on the person and what they want to achieve through therapy rather than look for a diagnosis. I can help you to explore your emotions, create new insights, facilitate change in your life, and break troubling thought or behaviour patterns.
In a nutshell, my personal therapeutic approach is pragmatic, compassionate, and individually-tailored. My goal is not just to listen, but to truly understand and make you feel heard, to create a comfortable and supportive enviornment through empathy and warmth, and to help you make sense of and work through what is going on for you.
I am trained to work in two evidence-based modalities; psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy. I often like to use elements of each depending on how my clients would like to work with me, resulting somewhere between a focused, goal-oriented therapy, and a more in-depth, explorative approach.
Whether this is your first time talking about a problem, or you’ve been in therapy before, I will offer warmth and compassion, and provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to talk about your life at your own pace.
I am a fully qualified psychotherapist, trained in both psychodynamic counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy at the University of London. I am also a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, and work under this code of conduct.
I am also:

+ Kink aware

I would recommend her as a therapist! More...
