Aimee and the team were great, really helped capture what we were trying to achieve with our website. Loads of suggestions and guidance along the way, nothing was too much trouble.

The team at Shoestring Digital worked with us at The Clock Tower Sanctuary (Brighton based homeless charity) and made our website re-platform and development really simple and easy for us to manage. They were very responsive and understanding to our limited resources - we are delighted with the quality and increase in traffic that the new website continues to generate. More...

What makes a great website?
We've got an article in the works about this, so watch this space. However, in our opinion the five principles of a good website are:
1) Findability
2) Usability
3) Readability
4) Likeability
5) Credibility (technically speaking)
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
If you decide to work with Shoestring Digital one thing which really helps is a detailed brief.
To make this process straightforward, we have developed a form which will take about an hour for you to fill out.
It contains all the questions we need answers to, in order to understand your business aims and objectives.
It's things like, what your business does, who your typical customers are, who you are trying to appeal to.
Questions about your brand, like whether you have one in place or whether you would like us to work on one for you.
This information helps us to get to know you better so we can present your business in the best way to your customers and potential customers.
We appreciate it is a slice of your precious time but in our experience, it will get the project off to a good start.
What do you love most about your job?
We love digital, so to us our work is really satisfying.
One of the bits we love best is getting a website build to the state where it is ready to go live and seeing the positive impact it has on our customers' businesses.
