What makes a great website?

A great website in our opinion is one that gets 'the message' across effectively and in the process keeps the visitor engaged whilst always steering them towards taking an action that you require, which in almost all cases is to contact you for your services or to purchase your services directly online.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

In order for us to be an effective SEO company, we ask lots of questions. Remember we are all about keywords so we want to know first what you call your services or products, then we compare that to what the search volume data is telling us about what your customer call your services and products.
Once we have some consensus on this we then drill down into what services or focus areas for the business have the potential to bring in the return on investment to meet your expectations and that will have a significant positive impact on the business.
We don't stop there as we really do need to get under the skin of your business to maximise the likelihood of capturing your customers attention online, every one of your potential customers that types a keyword into Google has an intent, and we need to understand that intent fully to successfully optimise your website in the listings.

What do you love most about your job?

We love finding opportunities that others can't see, our customers often very surprised at the data we can dig up on their competitors, their customers, areas for revenue that no one is competing for and the value we can bring to their overall business plan.
As we work with data, and data doesn't lie, as such our traffic research very often changes the overall trajectory or our customers' broader marketing strategy.

What inspired you to start your own business?

SEO is often just seen as a 'technical internet thing' that many don't fully understand, but we see it as something much more important that that.
The way people by services and products has never been subject to so much change in such a short period of time, the rate at which services are being bought online is unprecedented, the reality is business must evolve to their buyers' behavioural changes otherwise they can and do go out of business.
We have already seen this with the likes of Toys'R'us, a national business going under because they didn't adapt to their buyers who now choose companies like Amazon, ebay and other big online toy retailers to get what they want.
But in our opinion this is not a macro trend this is already affecting small businesses too, and as our job is to find and maximise online opportunities for our customers we feel that we can provide true value and deliver the change to the business that will match their buyers' new behaviours.
So what inspired us was the opportunity to solve a problem for our clients by providing well research inbound digital SEO strategies to align their client facing
