I was lucky enough to work with Gill, where she enhanced my understanding of the benefits of human dynamics exponentially, and so added enormous value to the whole experience. Gill not only took me through a thorough insightful analysis of who I am, which is by far the clearest and most useful interpretation I've had or seen, but she also sat with myself and my business partner and explained how best to work together. The accuracy was spot-on and beyond useful. I wouldn't hesitate in employing the services of Gill again. Gill is a woman of great integrity and insight, and has a clear passion for this work. She is inspirational and lives her passion. Thank you Gill. More...

Gillian is a remarkable Mentor - she recently delivered a White Paper addressing the platform and the team and what she sees as its limitations, with thoughtful and concise feedback on how these can be addressed and improved. I received invaluable advice from her. If you need a consultant to come and dissect your product or business, and help you with strategy I highly recommend Gillian. More...

. I was most impressed with Gillian that she lived and worked successfully in a professional capacity in Malaysia, Australia and now in the UK. Gillian strikes me as a a very dynamic person, a go-getter, and yet still very personable and approachable person. I look forward to working closely and having mutual support with Gillian as fellow Faculty Members for Birmingham and Kuala Lumpur. More...

I met Gillian at the Entrepreneur Dynamics event in Birmingham, where she very kindly offered to provide strategic advice, which demonstrates her desire to give back and help others. Gillian gave me invaluable advice on the next steps to pursue based on my business to move up a level. She also provided incredible insights into my profile, which made so much sense to me and helped me better understand myself. How quickly she was able to do this was astounding! I would certainly recommend talking to Gillian if you'd like to better understand your profile and the next steps to level up. More...

Flexible. Intuitive. Responsive. Caring. Gill helped me clarify my thoughts on my career transition and identify what I needed to do to move forward. She helped me see the ‘light at the end of the tunnel’ by breaking down the steps I needed to take into bite-sized actions. I would highly recommend Gill as both a career and personal coach - in fact, this combination is what makes Gill such a wonderful coach and human being to work with. Her follow-through is remarkable, as is her steadfast positive attitude. I would definitely work with her again! More...

Difference between Relationship Coaching and Relationship Counselling

Approach and Focus
Coaching: The emphasis is for people to find greater fulfilment in their relationships through personal development, effective communication, and relationship skills. More forward-looking and action-oriented focused on where the individuals want to go.

Counselling: Resolving existing conflicts, improving communication and addressing psychological issues. Addressing dysfunction in the relationship, using therapeutic models to promote change and healing.

I specialise in helping people who want to change careers or re-enter the workforce to find clarity and confidence to know what they would like to pursue that is aligned to their nature personality and will excite them. With AI having such an impact on the future job force, knowing where your skills are best utilised will help greatly in finding the right job.

I help them to navigate the harsh world that recruitment entails today.

I can tailor-make an approach for you, but here is a typical set of sessions that have been developed for previous clients:

Step 1: Understanding your own natural profile & personality

• Understanding your specific challenges and strengths
• Why you do what you do
• Your natural personality and operating system, including communication style, leadership and behavioural patterns
• What are the top risks and sabotages you are likely to experience
• What are your natural strengths and challenges

Step 2: An inventory of your: skills, values, interests, competences

• Drawing out what you have to offer to an employer to become a star performer
• If finances was not a limitation, what would an ideal career be for you?
• What good and bad experiences have you previously had.

Step 3: Your career goals based on your life goals

• Where do you see yourself in 1 year, 5 years and 10 years
• What type of role will support the life you want to design
• What skills and experience gap do you need to fill

Step 4: A structured approach to finding the perfect role
• A step-by-step guide to your job search and confidence building activities

Step 5: Your personal brand
• Ensuring you have the necessary tools and resources to make the best impression when you are not present to do this yourself. This includes your CV, cover letters, personal website, videos and presentations.
Step 6: Practice, Practice, Practice
• Mock interviews with questions that cover: general questions, behavioural questions, situational questions, technical questions etc. as well as questions you cannot answer

Step 7: Taking Stock, taking action

• Progress on plan defined in step 4
• Accountabilities and check-ins
• Continuous learning - reviews and changes.
