Welcome to Matthew Williams-Ellis wedding photography. I am a documentary wedding photographer based in London and absolutely LOVE my job!

My approach to capturing the story and excitement of your wedding day is that of ‘documentary wedding photography’. Unobtrusively, I will create dynamic, creative and happy images of every aspect of your wedding day, from the all important getting ready and the long awaited ‘I do’s’ to the stomach churning best man’s speech and much rehearsed first dance.

I pride myself on my ability to blend into the background, but still get completely involved in the days celebrations. I will make the photography an enjoyable experience I am very flexible on the day, but usually suggest 20 to 30 minutes for your newlywed couple photos. Just enough time to get some memorable photos without taking up too much of your day. With the capable help of your ushers, time spent on the formal photographs will be kept to a minimum.
