Jon Wood is an exemplary photographer, and my wife and I are forever in his debt for capturing our wedding day more perfectly than we could ever have imagined.

Jon has the uncanny ability to create a composition without making the subject feel uncomfortable in any way; the results were nothing short of jaw-dropping. In addition to his staged portraiture, Jon Wood has a penchant for candid photographs that will bring out the natural beauty in anyone. His many years in photography have served him well, and he knows precisely when to capture a moment before it passes, however fleeting it may be.

Finally, Jon is a nice person. The most daunting thing about booking a wedding photographer is the fear that you won't see eye-to-eye, but Jon effortlessly assuaged those fears by honestly listening to us, hearing our needs and desires as a couple, and communicating efficiently and honestly.

My partner now my new husband wanted a professional photographer for our wedding in June last month and found Jon wood after researching on the internet for a reliable and reasonable priced , from their first contact Jon was very helpful to cater round our needs and requirements , the day soon arrived , Jon was very punctual on timing , from the moment I opened the bridal suite door Jon was very warm and we welcomed him in he straight away there was certainly no awkwardness and then the hair and makeup artists made a start, Jon captured us looking natural and caught some flawless photos to treasure from the day he captured our unique characters we were so relaxed around him that when we suggested different ideas like going down to beach or the groom getting under my wedding dress and doing something completely different and fun he encouraged us to give it go , Jon guided us on where to stand and where to look for moments were we felt overwhelmed being such a special occasion and we trusted him completely, there was something special I had to ask Jon before heading down to the ceremony, a photo to be taken of of me alone with someone/something very Sentimental and Jon obliged , this has made a beautiful tribute for someone who couldn’t be there in person, it was an extra touch that I can’t thank him enough, after we had got married Jon was working with us two above and beyond asking what we would like to do , who we would like pictures with and made everyone else comfortable I don’t think anyone felt camera shy and we’ve had fantastic feedback from our guests, Jon sent us a few over a couple of days after the wedding and they took our breath away how beautiful and perfect they were , Jon took his time and care on each one , we were so excited to see them all, we met up with Jon only yesterday to collect the final snaps, and we have all ready shown them to a few of our guests and they are amazed of the quality that Jon has delivered, his after care is so important to him too, nothing is too much, we highly recommend Jon for your special day or occasion, from a very happy couple who now have these photos of moments of our wedding day for the rest of our life’s, thank you so much Jon the pleasure was all ours , yours sincerely the new Mr and Mrs Springford..

My wife and I had our wedding in June 2021. After all the postponements of covid, Jon was a constant source of calm for us both. From booking him in 2019 to the wedding day he was reassuring, professional, had a great sense of humour and in the end we formed a great friendship.

On the day, Jon was incredible with all of our guests who all said how fantastic he was. There aren't enough words to be able to thank Jon for all his work. The pictures were better than we ever imagined and captured a very special day for us both and all of our guests. We both always look forward to catching up with him whenever we can. Hopefully soon!

Jon was an absolute hero! Made a great first and lasting impression on me and my family. Due to unforeseen circumstances our holiday location changed, however Jon was fazed and made it work.

Jon was fantastic from start to finish. Jon was very quick to respond to my request on bark and was so easy to communicate with. From the first time we met, when he came to visit us me and my wife felt that Jon could not do enough for us. Jon was great throughout the whole build up to the wedding and was fantastic on our big day. On the day he was very unobtrusive and was not in your face like many other photographers are. Having Jon at my sisters wedding was great, he was so easy to talk to, interacted with all the guests but also able to blend in to take lots of the pictures people are unaware of, to really capture the moment.
