I work hard to put all my customers what ever age at ease. I want you to look at your pictures and see you at your best not a stranger looking posed and nervous.
I play with children and very quickly build an atmosphere of fun where they are enjoying themselves and being themselves, this then puts the rest of the family at ease.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Putting all clients at ease. If a client is not at ease it will always show in the final picture. All sort of digital aides can be used but this cannot hide the feeling of the picture. During a wedding I will often get the guests or bride and groom to move and not just pose. Finding the right location using natural surroundings as the frame of the picture and making the scene part of the picture. I don't rush the client, I wait until the time is right.
During a family shoot whether in the studio or on location I play with the children, this not only puts them at ease but this will also relax anxious adults, the same approach works with pets.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What style are you looking for. Where and when is the photo shoot to take place. How many people are in your party and how many are children. Would you like prints of digital images? What is your price bracket. Would you like all color, some black and white or a mixed selection. Will you want the pictures to be digitally enhanced? Are there any questions you would like to ask me?
What do you love most about your job?
The best part of my job is seeing my clients faces when they get their finished pictures. If a sitting has been challenging and I have managed to get the expressions I am happy with (which I pride myself on) I feel a great deal of satisfaction. If clients start the photo shoot feeling nervous and self conscious I will put them at ease. Seeing the picture that captures the mood, comical or loving moment. My work making my client happy and satisfied.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My own children, pictures I took of them and my work being seen and asked to start a studio of my own.

Friendly, honest, no hidden extras.
I listen to my clients wishes and ideas for their photo shoot. I work with children as if they were my own, I play with them do silly things and make friends so soon I am getting relaxed natural photographs. I am happy to try ideas my clients might have.
During a wedding day I will get the atmosphere of the day from the Bride getting ready, the excitement of the bridesmaids/pages preparation the ceremony and the many special moments during the day from formal group poses, romantic moments between Bride and Groom and the fun filled times of the bridal party. I am imaginative and creative producing natural and fun images.
