James is a brilliant photographer, he was so patient and brilliant with everyone, the photos are perfect and reminded me of the small details that I had forgotten on the day. Working with James was an absolute treat from start to finish. We booked James for our 2020 wedding back in December 2018. He was quick to reply, clear and competitive pricing, and really personable and friendly from the offset.

We wanted to meet in person before the big day so enjoyed brunch in the Peak District a few weeks before lockdown hit. Our main ceremony in July was cancelled but we decided to go ahead with a smaller group in August, and James was extremely flexible offering for us to split the contract across two dates if we preferred, which we did.

James photographed our small ceremony in Manchester a few weeks ago and we couldn’t have been happier. He was professional, efficient and just went with the casual flow of the day which is exactly what we wanted. We’ve just received the photos and they’re absolutely perfect. Loads of natural action shots. He worked so well with the urban vibes of Castlefield. We can’t wait to get James back for our big party celebration further down the line. James was excellent on the day, even though we were only allowed a service due to government restrictions regarding the coronavirus, James still managed to attend and photograph for the few hours we were allowed. James was the perfect photographer for us. He understood completely the balance we wanted between formality and informality. For the few formal photographs he gathered us together with humour and patience, with a sense of fun too.

For the informal shots, he captured so many wonderful moments, both lighthearted and poignant - during the ceremony in the chapel, outside during a prosecco reception, as we set off in our vintage car and right through the main reception up the first dance.

Providing all the photos on a memory stick afterwards for us to use as we wished was the perfect and most flexible way of working.

After looking at the James Arnia Photography website we knew that we liked the style of photography James produces. After speaking with James about what we wanted and didn’t want on the day, James quoted us a really competitive price. We absolutely love our wedding pictures. James is talented and skilled at what he does. Most importantly James was an absolute pleasure to have around on the day. He certainly got everyone on side very quickly and we had a lot of compliments from our guests who went out of their way to tell us what a great guy he is. James is a wonderful photographer and a great soul. He was very professional at our wedding but yet fun all at the same time. The photos we received was brilliant the usb stick was a very unique glass jar it looked so cute. James went above and beyond to accomodate us. From pictures of me getting ready to the very last part of the day. I would recommend and use James again. I can not fault him. The photos were sent and edited within 2 weeks of the wedding too. Amazing response time and amazing photos too. James managed to capture some beautiful natural moments as they were happening and yet you would of never of known he was there! He was very discreet and unobtrusive. He was very flexible on the day not only taking the natural shots but took group and requested shots.
