My aim is to empower people. I'm always amazed at what talking to the subconscious (which is what we do in Hypnotherapy) achieves and I love seeing people who for instance have lost their confidence to gain it in a short space of time. The fact that this is done whilst they are sitting in a comfortable chair in a totally safe environment where they leave feeling refreshed and relaxed makes it an enjoyable and rewarding experience for my clients and myself.

I started having panic attacks a few years ago and tried Hypnotherapy because I really wanted to change and I was amazed by the results which were subtle but life changing for me so I decided that I wanted to help others and trained.

I really do care about my clients as all therapists do but I take time to get to know you so that I can write personal scripts which relate to you specifically. 10 people may want to give up smoking but my scripts would be different for all. I explain the process fully and would always be honest if I felt this was not the best route for them. Hypnotherapy isn't a "magic wand" you cannot make anyone do something they do not want to do, so if someone wants me to try to help them I will do my best.

Yes, I can offer online Hypnotherapy which is perfectly safe and sometimes preferable to clients who may not drive or are anxious.

By working online last year but also I had time in between clients to thoroughly clean the area where clients have sat and aired my room.

Hypnosis combines the use of Hypnosis with various therapeutic approaches to enable a person to affect change in their life. the hypnosis or trance element, is simple a state of deep relaxation, the feeling you have when you are first waking in the morning or drifting off to sleep at night, it is something we all experience. Within hypnotherapy we are utilising this state of relaxation to enable change within the great powerhouse of the subconscious mind.

The subconscious mind holds our patters, habits, behaviours and our fears, when when are deeply relaxed we can access it. It is believed that 90% of what we do each day is controlled by the subconscious, so it is important to be able to access it and re-train it, rather like altering a faulty programme on a computer.

The therapy can involve an analytical approach, CBT, Metaphors, direct and indirect suggestions, mindfulness, in fact a whole range of therapeutic approaches depending on the needs of the client.
