Thank you so much to Stella for a perfect dinner party as part of my sister’s hen weekend celebrations at Pitcairlie House. Nothing was too much hassle and Stella expertly curated a delicious three-course menu for us. The table decorations including sequin tablecloths, candles and flowers made it feel even more of a treat and it was great to have our own waiter, Sam, who did a fab job. What’s your signature dish?
A hard question indeed!
I love all food and love creating new dishes, Things I have created and would say I am noted for are.
Lemon Meringue Tiffin, I created this recipe 10 years ago for my first Tea Room
Pheasant, whisky and sage pate,
Lamb, smoked gammon and caper terrine
I make a mean BBQ sauce using Bourbon cask beer for my 8 hour slow cooked pork.
Just a few dishes but so hard to pick one.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Ideally we can start off with a chat to establish what you are looking for and importantly your budget.
I want to provide the best quality I can for the price you can afford.
I want to provide what the customer wants not what I want to give the customer.
That can be as simple or as complicated as you like, we will always find a way.
What do you love most about your job?
I particularly love weddings but we offer a range of catering solutions to both private and corporate customers, which are designed to suit any budget for any occasion, the business also has an enthuastic team of experienced staff allowing clients to rest assured that their event will be a great success.
We get to help create life long memories for people, that is a special position to be in. Many of my clients keep in touch over the years, it is lovely.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love to feed people, (think it's an Italian thing!)
By starting my own business I get to make a living from what I love doing.

Because you will get a service that is tailored to you.
From simple sandwich platters to an Elizabethan banquet. We always use quality and where possible local ingredients but at the same time offer value for money.
