Contacted Kathryn about the Level 1 pet gundog course at the started of the year and managed to get on a course at the start of February with Sandy my yellow Labrador pet gundog. Our puppy Dexter loved coming to these classes- he couldn’t get through the door fast enough each week!! We learnt some great training cues in manageable steps and Kathryn gave really helpful practical advice every week that gave us more confidence on our puppy journey. Our pup is a staffie with attitude and he answers back at home. So I was surprised and delighted to find training tired him out and his attitude has become more attentive. Loved doing the course, gained a lot from it, including pointers for keeping his attention even when he's playing and especially to stop him attacking my socks! Just completed a beginners dog training course with Kathryn at Four Paws Dog training at ulnes Walton It was run over five weeks on a Wednesday night in a village hall There was only 4 dogs in the class so Kathryn was able to take her time explaining what we needed to do in a very friendly manner Katherine is an excellent trainer who makes the classes fun the the dogs and owners alike Her knowledge of gun dog training is second to no one Our dog Flynne is not the easiest dog to train but Kathryn has taught us what we need to do to get a well behaved dog and we will keep using all the tips and knowledge on a daily basis We look forward to going on the next course in the new year to get flynne to progress in his training Thank so much Kathryn

The classes are small so Kathryn gets to know each puppy and owner. The classes are structured but are also designed on the puppies having fun and having an excellent experience. Kathryn has a vast knowledge and experience and explains the reasoning behind the training methods. The techniques are easy to do 10 minute training sessions at home .Kathryn puts much time and effort getting to know each puppy and can give each puppy and owner individual attention in the class . I highly recommend Four Paws Dog Training. Me and my partner recently attended the September/October beginner course and it quickly became the highlight of our week! We’ve formed a whole new relationship with our Labrador reinforcing the connection we already shared with her and learning some new tricks along the way. The class was a relaxed low pressure environment but information dense, with Kathryn providing plenty of insight into doggy psychology. I cannot recommend Kathryn and Four Paws highly enough. This is the second puppy we have had at Four Paws. The training was relaxed and calming for our German Shepherd, Dutch. The techniques used were excellent and rewards based. Kathryn is very passionate about high quality training. She is very knowledgeable. We will be enrolling onto the next ‘Junior’ course. We had a puppy pack as new owners of a puppy which really help us we then booked onto a puppy course which we really enjoyed Kathryn makes the training fun and easy to follow, socialisation was also well structured and not rushed our puppy gained a lot from that as she was a bit nervous on week 1 but by week 6 she was confident and happy.
