We used Exe Catering to provide canapes and a street food lunch for corporate events. We just had our first delivery of canapes last night and they were absolutely perfect. Every single person at the event commented on how delicious they were and now we can't wait for the street food on Friday! Exe caterers catered for an adult birthday party at our local pub. The food arrived spot on time and some of it was still warm from the cooking. Great sub sandwiches and baguettes, ingredients are fresh and you can have whatever you want in terms of salad and sauce. Very friendly and polite staff that make your order quickly even at peak times . It would be fantastic if they had a wider range of drinks and desserts and a larger shop with tables and chairs. How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Listening to the customers needs is key. For any event it's nice to let the customers have their input on what they would like to be served. We can also create menus and ideas for those who aren't to sure about what they are after.
What do you love most about your job?
Being able to create menus and explore the world of food through our customers and meeting new people.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After working at a restaurant for 10 years I felt I needed something of my own. Somewhere I could explore the world of food without any boundaries and could experiment with my own ideas.
