We had a problem with a leaking flat roof. We called Matthew who came round the following day, assessed the job and provided us with a very reasonable quote - the same day. Contacted Matthew again to accept the quote and he was able to arrange for the work to be done the same week. Matthew and his colleague arrived when they said they would, completed the work and pointed out a couple of extra things they were able to do (a gutter bracket and an additional smaller repair on the flat roof).I would highly recommend Matthew. A couple of weeks ago I had a leak coming through into my bedroom. I rang eagle roofing and within a few hour they came out and had a look at my roof. Using pictures they had taken they explained to me what the problem was (cracked lead valley).

3 days later the job was complete and again they showed me pictures of what they had done. I thought I would leave the review until it had rained and I had chance to check if had worked. Well it has rained heavily for the last few days and I have not had a drop of rain in.

I am really pleased with the company as a whole and would defiantly recommend them.

I own an old Victorian house in scholes which has four large chimney stacks. I recently had problems with all four stacks causing damp internally.

Mathew came round to have a look for me and found the problem immediately. All the stacks were rendered and cowls changed.

I don't usually leave reviews but felt I had too on this occasion. After the recent high winds I was left with a sizeable hole in my roof. Mathew came out within one hour of me calling assessed the situation, gave me a break down of the work needed to be carried out and how much it would cost.

It was far less than I was anticipating so I gave Mathew the go ahead straight away. I was over the moon when the work was carried out there and then. I was even given a guarantee and a letter from Mathew stating he believed the cause of the damage was storm damaged if I ever wanted to claim off the insurance.

After reading many of the reviews on here I contacted Eagle Roofing about a leak in my roof coming through my upstairs light and another at the front of the house.

We contacted Eagle Roofing, regarding a slow but persistent leak from the ceiling of one of our bedroom, which is immediately below a fairly large flat roof. When I contacted the company, a gentleman by the name of Mathew answered the phone immediately, who I later got to know was the owner of the company.
Mathew was able to speak with me at the point of contact, rather than asking me to call back. Mathew was polite and courteous during our conversation and listened to my concerns attentively, with interest. He agreed to call to at our house to investigate the cause of the problem the following day.
As arranged Mathew turned up promptly and introduced himself. Following a short conversation, he went up onto our roof to have a look. He came down after 10 minutes or so, and was able to explain to us the cause of the problem, which he said was due to our roof having rotted away over the years , as it was almost 30yrs old. He was able to back up what he had stated by showing us the photographs he had taken. This very clearly demonstrated and confirmed his assessment.
The following day, as we had requested, he sent us a quote for the work, which was some what more than we had expected but was most competitive. On reflection, the quote was more than reasonable as the whole roof had to be replaced- Hence, we were only too happy for him to carry out the work.
In summary, if all tradesmen functioned in the same manner as Mathew, I have no doubt that the world would be a happier and better place. We can unreservedly recommend him to anyone, as he is a first class tradesman, who is not only polite and courteous in his mannerism but also most professional- if we are unfortunate enough to have any roofing problem in the future, we are in no doubt, who we would contact!

With all the bad weather we have had lately I noticed that I was starting to get some damp on one of the bedroom walls. I contacted Eagle Roofing and someone came out the same day to take a look. I found them really professional and friendly. They took pictures of the damaged and explained to me exactly how it had been caused. We agreed on a price (which they stuck to) and the work was finished in the time frame agreed.

Now the damp has gone and what's more I have a 10 year guarantee.
