I approached Neil as I had an ongoing issue with a back problem and painful knee joints. Through the programme that Neil regularly adapts for me, I no longer have problems with these specific areas. Had a PT session with Neil on Friday, I had been doing general weight training for a few years after initial instruction from a gym based PT - some bad habits had crept in, Neil used normal language to explain how the body shape should be in certain circumstances rather than trying to remember a pose. Will use again, top man.
I consider myself to be clued up on exercise - done the research, looked into healthy eating, thought I knew my stuff but I didn't seem to be losing any weight or more importantly, losing fat. I'd sent Neil a copy of my workout schedule and my food. He had a look and said it needed a little tweaking but I didn't think there was much wrong with it as I'd been researching this for years! Anyway, we had a session at the gym and he showed me exactly where I was going wrong! I just wasn't working hard enough - took me out of my comfort zone which is what I needed. I'm hoping this will mean shorter but more focused gym sessions, getting me where I need to be a lot quicker but without silly fad diets or getting bored. Great ideas and thorough advice given from the start. I've had information given about how I need to alter and change my diet and lifestyle to get the best results from the training sessions.
