DoodleFinn Media has been set up to offer an affordable option for Web Design, Video Production and Media Products for the small businesses, clubs or individuals who may require them. After doing some projects for people as favours, Anna decided that this was something she truly enjoyed, and went back to college (after already achieving a university degree in another field) to gain some qualifications to pursue her passion. DoodleFinn Media was then created!

What makes a great website?
Easy to navigate. Eye Catching. Good SEO. Call to action.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What do they want to achieve from the project? For example do they want their website too get more people to view products-or too find out more about the company? If it is a redesign of a branding I like to find out more about the company and what their values are what they represent so that the designs reflect that.
Describe your creative process.
As soon as someone tells me what they require I start to get immediate ideas. I then usually sketch ideas, brainstorm, and then create them digitally on my computer. It is great to have the client involved in the creative process so I normally come up with various designs. Then I adjust a chosen design until everyone is happy with it.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
For websites it is important to know what the client requires in terms of functionality-specific pages, a shop, video advertising etc.
It is also important to know what kind of feel they want from the website representing their company or product.
For graphic design again it is important to know what they want to achieve, represent from a specific design.
What do you love most about your job?
I really love the design aspect of everything. I really enjoy creating logos, posters, anything which involves designing. when creating websites I like designing the layouts and how everything looks.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had been doing a lot of work for friends and family in my spare time and I realised that it was something I really enjoyed doing so why not do it every day as my job!
Why should our clients choose you?
We are an affordable company with many media strands. This means a client can use us too change a logo, provide photography, create a website, a video advert etc without the need to go too all different companies for each different thing. I thoroughly enjoy my work which means that the utmost care and attention to detail is put into every project.
