After surviving repeated relapses for fourteen years, my body and brain had been damaged beyond control. My wife was warned that I had to be committed at any time. One of my friends suggested that I be brought to this drug rehab center. She was so scared of her own safety that she left. My friend brought me to this place. I vaguely remember the first dose of detox I got here. Since then my body and brain have recovered beyond my own expectations. I am grateful to the doctors and nurses who put their entire specialization and efforts to bring me back from the edge of a complete breakdown. My tryst with alcohol started when I wanted to have more fun and joy in life. At some point, it became a crutch of complete dependence. Ultimately it started burning my body and drove me to insanity. This place is top shelf!!! I've been to a couple before this one and it's my experience that the support group sets the stage for the recovery. Doctors tell me I was about to jump out of my apartment window when my friends brought me to the drug detox center at Florida. After two weeks of detox, I can see things clearly. I can walk, eat and take care of my basic needs all by myself. The constant twitching in the stomach and nerves is gone. The doctors and specialists have been really great. Previously I was a big fan of the effects of alcohol. The booze always took me away from the reality which I obviously wanted to ignore. There was a time when I was found passed out drunk on the streets. My relationship with alcohol was growing strong day by day, almost 20 units per day. Soon the time came when I experienced some health issues and was diagnosed with Cirrhosis. I was searching for a rahab center in Florida. My younger brother somehow got addicted to drugs (probably due to his friend circle in which most of the dudes feel that consumption of drugs is cool).
