It’s really sad. I called them to get help with AA meetings or outpatient rehab. I just moved states away from my family and they said I needed impatient rehab. I told them I was unable to do that as of right now because I would lose my job somebody named Ryan told me to call back when I was actually serious. Just hurts my feelings and this is the reason why I don’t seek help. I want help but i will not lose my job or home over it.. More...

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY: I called looking for AA Meetings in my area and instead they asked me for my insurance card number. When I wouldn't give it to him, he berated me and told me I would lose my job, my family and end up homeless. The way he spoke to me was berating and cruel. I hung up on him because he was yelling at me. On their website page, in big bold letters it says: Your Guiding Light to Recovery Find an AA Meeting Near You Our dedicated staff is ready to answer your questions about 12 step recovery. We want to help you or your loved one find an AA meeting to start on the road to recovery. I never got any AA meeting, just someone who wanted my insurance card #. More...

I chose ember recovery to start my journey into sobriety. At first, it didn’t seem like much but turned out to be much more than the eye could see! They worked both with and for me to ensure that I had the support I needed to work the program in a way that benefited me. I’d like to shoutout Jimbo for keeping me fed and happy, shoutout to Tara for working along side me through my treatment plan and legal issues and a shoutout to Devin for always trying his best to make sure we had fun as a community. The community was the probably the best part of recovering here at ember. Very warm and welcoming! Thank you 🙏 More...

First of all let me give credit to 99% of the staff! They are phenomenal. Please read the reviews in full because people are forced to write a 5 star review upon leaving. They illegally refuse to give me my cell phone and my ID when I was leaving. They cut off all communications with my family. They assumed that I had caused my family, a lot of pain, which was far from the truth. I was basically pigeon hole as an alcoholic and my rights were stripped away from me. My wife literally had to demand my release, Because they wanted me to stay there as long as they could so they could collect $4500 a day. The director of the facility (Chris) has no clue about operations. Absolutely no communication whatsoever, you get a different answer from depending on who you ask.My counselor Deanna is a know it all and made the statement to everyone that she doesn’t even wanna talk to us until I’ve been there for 14 days. The food was horrible, but the kitchen staff was so friendly. They buy the lowest quality food they can from US Foods. You think $4500 a day you wouldn’t get an Italian wrap with lunchmeat in it and pepperoni so thin, you can barely see them. Please do your research before going here. There are plenty of places that you can find recovery. This place is just a money pit violating your rights. More...

I feel it’s important to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. Before I arrived, I was clearly told the program was 21 days. However, after I was admitted and heavily medicated to the point of blackout for seven days, they informed my wife that the program was actually 30 days — clearly an attempt to collect more insurance money, not to provide better care. This was deceptive and dishonest. When I came to and decided to leave, they refused to return my phone, ID, or wallet for 48 hours. During my stay, they also blocked me from speaking with my wife. While my father was in the ICU, she was unable to reach me with the urgent news. She eventually had to come in person and take me straight to the hospital herself. They also used peoples emergency contact under the intent was to collect money. This showed a complete disregard for HIPAA regulations and basic privacy rights. It’s also important to understand that this is not a full rehab facility. Many patients are there for mental illness, and the environment reflects more of a psychiatric facility than a substance abuse recovery center. It was hard to see how AA or NA meetings would be beneficial for individuals who weren’t struggling with mental illness. To be fair, most of the staff are caring and professional, but leadership — especially Chris, the director and Diana, the unqualified and arrogant counselor.— pressures them to stay quiet when questions are asked. Transparency is clearly not part of the culture. If you’re seeking help for sobriety, please look elsewhere. There are other facilities that will actually respect your rights, support your loved ones, and focus on true recovery — not billing your insurance for as long as possible. More...

⭐ – Ember "Recovery" Center $4,500 a day. That’s what Ember Recovery Center billed my insurance — while I was isolated, misled, and stripped of basic rights. I came to Ember hoping for healing. Instead, I found a system built on control, misinformation, and emotional manipulation. From the beginning, Ember worked hard to separate me from my support system. My mother and aunt — the people who’ve stood by me through everything — were labeled “enablers” and essentially cut off. I wasn’t the only one. This practice was common, leaving many patients feeling alone and dependent on the facility. The emotional environment was overwhelming. Loud, chaotic group sessions with nonstop trauma being shared back-to-back — often without breaks or grounding. For those of us with Central Sensitization Syndrome, PTSD, or HPPD, it was too much. I used earplugs just to cope. But what really shocked me — and needs to be known — is how they handled patients trying to leave. When I made the decision to leave after my 15 day detox, that's all I wanted or needed. Ember staff told me I couldn’t take my belongings with me. They claimed I could only leave with my ID and a single dose of Narcan. Everything else 0— clothes, personal items, essentials — would supposedly be mailed “in 48 hours.” I later learned this ijs not legal. The new facility was honest and upfront with me. They confirmed what I suspected: no law prevents a patient from leaving with their belongings. The idea that you're forced to leave without your property is misleading, and deeply unfair — especially given Ember’s isolated location, which feels strategically chosen to make walking away impossible. Patients deserve honesty, not fear tactics. At $4,500 a day, there should be integrity, compassion, and transparency. I didn’t find that at Ember. What I found was a facility that seemed more focused on keeping people in than helping them out. I share this not with anger, but with clarity — because others deserve to know what they’re walking into. Because this isnt just my story. Its everyone who was rhere when I was. Its the people still in there No. Recovery. Just hand in a ✋️ ⏩️➡️⏩️👛$$$🐷🏧💳⏮️ More...

***I have to amend this review due to my moral beliefs*** It's actually really messed up that Ember Recovery Center FORCES patients to write a review for the facility WHILE being discharged and WATCHED by an employee of the facility. Please read all of the reviews that haven't mentioned being made in the company of the company with a grain of salt. While I still maintain that the nurses, kitchen crew, and most of the techs and patients were both kind and supportive, and I’m glad this was my first and hopefully last experience in a treatment facility--The "leadership" was abysmal. Poor communication, controlling demeanor, and a know-it-all/isolating attitude was the way of most of the "higher-ups" for this brand. You must drink the kool-aid to be an A+/liked student here...I use the word student on purpose...NO questions welcomed, only answers given, assumptions and stereotypes made and reinforced, and instructions to be followed. Lemmings succeed, devil's advocates can sit and spin. More...

My phone was stolen and it’s Location brought me to Ember recovery center. I was able to recover the device but The pin was changed and my personal information was accessed. From my experience here, this place is a gold mine for criminal activity. The staff is deceptive and do not care to mitigate criminal activity. They did not give me the pin to my phone. Amber recovery is a danger to my community and I do not recommend this place. They should be shut down. More...

Ember Recovery was great for me. The staff, the group meetings, the food the center served and the nursing staff were unparalleled in the lengths to which it would go to accommodate those of us with the defective addiction gene. They made me feel like I had nothing to be ashamed of with regard to my character flaw/s in my struggle to overcome my cravings for alcohol and my addictive personality disorder. I truly thank God for these people, and I pray that He will continue to bless them as they strive to help others like me overcome this curse. More...
