Be careful. Although the response I received was actually quite useful, I subsequently learned that the response is copy-and-pasted in terms of the wording so it is not necessarily personal or definitive advice. The company's goal is to convince you to pay for a rewrite and I've read nothing but terrible reviews about this. More...

I used CV Knowhow to improve my chances of employment within the Logistics sector. I was assigned to Tara M who redesigned and tailored my CV.
Having applied for numerous jobs, most of them below my experience and skillset. I have not recieved a single job interview in 6 months. My old CV which Tara changed was used by a friend who has successfully gained employment 5 times using it. I feel this service has added no value to my search, if anything it has hindered my chances. Please look elsewhere or seek free advice to improve your CV. CV Knowhow didn't even have the courtesy to reply to an email I sent them 14 Nov 20. This lack of customer aftercare reflects the effectiveness of the CV.
Leaving poor reviews is something I rarely feel the need to participate in. However, due to CV Knowhows lack of empathy and extremely poor communication I stand by this decision.😡

Awful experience with this company. Their customer service is horrendous and in terms of communicating with you, don't expect anything. It's taken me countless reminder emails to get anywhere, not at least a response. Also, their refund policy is outrageous. I was told I would get a refund ( I have not used the service due to Covid and personal matters), two months later, still no refund. After chasing (countless times again) I've been told that I cannot have a refund, despite telling me it was being processed in November! More...

He provided a sample format to cover letter and asked me to change it when required !!!

I received a really helpful critique of my CV which has enabled me to considerably improve my CV. I feared that the feedback would be generic and would feel 'automated' but it was in fact very specific, even giving examples where the tone/language in my CV could be improved to make it more compelling. I used the CV Knowhow to review my CV and was impressed with their feedback.
I opted for the Executive Priority package and with the very draft, I knew something was wrong as the CV was poorly written and had no consideration of my field and skills, I am from IT and the CV was more formatted as for a sales/marketing person.
Even ATS (application tracking software) was picking my skills completely incorrect.
I shared the feedback with the writer, unfortunately, no avail. The cover letter and linked profile weren’t helpful either. My LinkedIn profile was cut short and most of my previous jobs were omitted. Even though I shared an article from LinkedIn CEO which does suggest using linked as a supportive tool for the resume, it fell on deaf ears.
Regrettably, there is no consideration of the feedback and I was handed over the final product which in 3 months resulted in lots of rejections but, any interest.
I then asked for the resume to be rewritten as covered in their guarantee scheme however, the reiteration was again disappointing.
The service/company is definitely not recommended.

I was not expecting to have such an in depth review of my CV once i had sent it to be checked, I read the review by Caroline which i found to be very helpful as it pointed out all the things that were wrong with it and how to best fix them. I think CV KNOWHOW is a good company run by honest people. I purchased the Executive Priority package using their monthly installments payment scheme. I paid £80 which is non-refundable then I started reading the bad reviews and I got scared. I emailed them asking for a refund. In my head, I had already thought that if they refund that means they are not like what is being online about them and is actually a very good company. If they don't refund, I thought that I would have to go ahead with the service I chose but I would lose respect for the company. Today they replied to and told me that they have refunded me.
