What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Technical quality aside it is definately building up a relationship with the client and understanding their needs and expectations then using your experience and creativity to translate that into a professional image.
With portraiture it is vital to capture the spirit and personality of the individual then reflecting that in the photograph.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What do you want to use the images for ? Where will they be displayed ? Are there any constraints on resolution and image size for the anticipated use website etc ?
For Portraiture - How many subjects ? Are you looking for a traditional setting or something a little more individualised or Zany? Indoors or Outside ?
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting clients and being able to produce creative and individualised images. In particular working closely with customers to understand what it is they want.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Creative freedom - after many years in public service I wanted the flexibility to go that extra mile to use my creativity and technical experience to deliver a great product.

This is can be a professional shoot at your own home using our portable studio equipment or at our studios.
Following the sitting we will edit and format the photographs and produce a private, password protected album on line for you to access and download images.
