I have been a professional musician, a sommelier and publican. I've found a joy in this career as film maker and photographer because I can combine all my talents in the production of beautiful cinematic stories.
I love being around people and observing human nature. The fact that I can do this while creating beautiful imagery and giving clients immense satisfaction from the results of my hard work is very gratifying. A lot of my work has required me to travel and being in new places and being able to record the experiences of these is a huge bonus.
I like the independence and freedom that comes with working from home. Being in charge of my business means that I have to take responsibility for the day to day activities and the interaction with clients. When couples contact me and are over the moon with their films I know that I have played a big part in capturing their memories and the fact that all the hard work I have put into making this work gives me a feeling of great pride.
Clients or couples choose me because they feel relaxed around me. A wedding is such an emotional day and being around supportive caring people makes the experience more authentic. I take the gentle approach. I'm not one to force a certain look or pose. I believe the greatest beauty comes from within and when a client can live their joy and beauty it reflects in the film. I'd like to believe that I help facilitate that.
