What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to capturing a great photo is seeing something unique. Photography itself is the art of observation, and so the best photographs bring something unobvious to the focus of the image.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I would sit down with them to find out the 'why' of their project, what is it that they are passionate about in their project and how we might express that creatively. Start with why and go from there.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being creative in a wide range of settings, I know there are great visual artists who stick to one niche but for me, there is so much to be learned and brought across genres of photography and videography.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have a massive personal passion for worldwide justice and realised if I worked for myself then I could use the profits to contribute towards various charities who bring justice, freedom and equality in the world. I give 16% of my profits to 4 charities working in environmental care, mental health, foster care and adoption, and international human rights advocacy.
