We asked Susan to be our wedding photographer based on a couple of personal recommendations as well as the stunning examples of her work on her website. Capturing the essence of the day was one of the most important things for us and we wanted to ensure we had high quality beautiful images to remember the day, we were by no means disappointed!
From the initial meeting with Susan she was wonderful, very professional but had the ability to make us feel so very comfortable with her and the camera. After out initial meet we were all on the same pages with regards to what we wanted and Susan had some great ideas. I must have emailed and text Susan a thousand time leading up to the big day, but no question was too much trouble for her to answer. After we had the pre wedding shoot and we saw the images, I knew we had done the right thing in hiring Susan, they were wonderful.
On the day we couldn’t have asked for a better and more talented person to be there to capture all of the special moments, she wasn’t just the photographer but lended a helping hand when needed and even offered advice throughout the day.
What was also fantastic was having two photographers, Susan was joined by her daughter Leah. We had met Leah several times before and knew she was in the early days of her photography career. We must say for her younger age, she was one of the most professional people we have ever met, she is also extremely talented. She managed to capture so many exquisite images throughout the day, she has a very good eye for those moments you love to remember.
We saw the final images last night and we managed to relive the day through the photographs, and see the things we didn’t on the day. The way in which us and our guests were captured is fantastic, very natural shots were taken allowing peoples reactions and emotions to come through. Some of the images that we have could be described as pieces of art.
All of the images are fantastic and we couldn’t be happier, on a personal note, Susan and Leah managed to capture a few moments during the day that truly mean the world to me, as they show me (as the bride) with my family and also with the presence of storm Brian (which has a very deep personal meaning). These are images I will truly treasure forever.
We were lucky enough to have two very talented professional photographers capture our day, and I could not have asked for a better service. For any one looking for a photographer who is not only professional, truly talented and a pleasure to work with you cant go wrong with Susan Guest photography. We will definitely use them again.
