From the offset we had kind and great communication from Steve. Prior to our wedding day we chatted about what we were expecting on the day which was helpful for us. He had even gone to the venue to see where the best shots could be taken. On the day he was just so kind and relaxed and made us feel at ease. He took all the photos that we asked for and lots more too. We only took a few posed photos as posing isn’t really our style and what he took was amazing. What do you love most about your job?
I can't put up a shelf or plumb in a washing machine but people say I can take a photo. My goal is to ensure that 2 weeks after your wedding, you say the best investment you made on the day was the photography. I love it when clients are thrilled with their pictures and would be mortified if they didn't. I'm a people person and love it when couples say their guests thought I worked hard and was generally OK to be around : )
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been a photographer ever since leaving school, starting off by working in a darkroom, through to covering news for BBC & ITN, Sky etc as a TV cameraman. Then put the video camera down and went digital photographing celebs, where my somewhat cheeky demeanour proved ideal in getting pics out of Mariah Carey, Liam Gallagher...a lot of celebs! Great fun.

25 years in photojournalism has given me the ability to anticipate and capture the fleeting moments as well as mix with people from all walks of life whether that be a Lord, a pop star or Harry from the Dog & Duck. I won't be working on your photos in-between shifts at M&S, this is my only job and your wedding will have my full attention.
