‘20 Certificate of Excellence

Geoff Love Photography has been operating for over 14 years offering a completely personalised, reliable service providing stunning, creative wedding, family, boudoir, maternity and commercial photography. I offer several set packages as start points to help clients decide what they want but these can be tailored in any way to suit your exact needs. All images are supplied as high res files and I can also provide the full range of quality products such as albums, prints, canvases etc. The quality of my personal service is very important to me. I believe clients should have someone they will trust not only to capture great photos, but also to be someone they can relate to easily, not have to chase to respond to emails and phone calls and in short, will do what has been agreed with the minimum of fuss. I'm laid back but efficient and unflappable - which is probably what becomes of previously being a primary school headteacher! Most of my bookings come through word of mouth - testament to the work I have done for others. Take a look at all my 5 star reviews and get in touch to find out for yourself why they are so positive!

What do you love most about your job?

I LOVE capturing great wedding images. The magical day, the happy people, the excitement, the nerves, the whole beauty of the day. And even more than that, making a connection with the couple and seeing their reaction and hearing their responses when they see the fab pictures we have captured. I also enjoy maintaining the connection with couples and often get asked back later for a baby or family shoot...!

I HATE ordering people around, spoiling everyone's day by making them do weird things they don't want to do(!) and taking the bride and groom away from their guests for hours on end when they should be enjoying their friends and family.

What inspired you to start your own business?

It was a hobby gone mad! I had been a keen photographer for many years but there are only so many times your family will put up with being photographed so I started photographing other people... and it went from there. Until recently I also had a job as a primary headteacher - however I am now focussing on the photography full time....

Why should our clients choose you?

I'm reliable, down to earth and I can promise to be fully focussed on your needs. You will get prompt responses to calls, emails etc and the memories of your wedding will not be of the photographer who was a real hassle. Your memories will be entirely positive aided by your beautiful photographs...! Just look at my feedback if you have any doubts!

Ultimately, you need a photographer who you are happy to share your big day with - so give me a call, let's have a chat, and make up your own mind whether you want to invite me to your wedding...!

Every couple wants their wedding day to be the best day of their life. The job of a wedding photographer is to capture the memories and the emotions of your wedding day, so that you never forget it. Future generations will be able to look back on your wedding photos as a defining moment in history and feel the emotions of your day.

Although there is no requirement to have two photographers for your wedding, it allows more moments to be captured. For example, one photographer can be with the bride whilst she is getting ready whilst the other captures the arrival of the groom and the preparations for the ceremony. Having two photographers means that you’ll get shots that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise, and capture more memories of your special day.

The number of hours of wedding photography that you need depends on how much of your day you want to document, as well as the timing of your day. Most couples choose for the photographer to arrive an hour before the ceremony to capture the final preparations, and then stay until the end of the first dance. 6 to 8 hours of coverage is usually plenty for small to medium sized weddings.
