Blooming Cow Flowers is a natural style florists and flower grower based on a farm in Alton, Hampshire. In addition to the workshop on the farm we also have three quarters of an acre of land where we grow a wealth of flowers, foliage, herbs and seed heads for use in our designs. The field is also available to our clients as a 'pick your own' for those of you that might like to design your own flowers. We can do as little or as much as you would like us to. For example some clients like to arrange their own table flowers with the help of their family and friends and leave all of the fiddly bits to us: Such as the button holes, flower crowns, corsages, long and low designs and bouquets. We tend to design in quite a natural, country garden, wild and rustic way and along with the flowers we also usually incorporate interesting seed heads, foliage and herbs into our designs as well. This business is all about combining my two loves and skills: Floristry and Horticulture. Both of which have been a part of my life since I was small. I chose to open my own business instead of work for a commercial flower shop because I wanted to stay true to my own way of designing. My take on the business of floristry is less commercial than most. I wanted to be able to design in a very natural way as well as offer something a little more unusual.

Making people happy with flowers! As well as the designing and growing side. Doing my little bit for the environment (especially the bees!) with the flowers I grow without the use of chemicals. There's nothing I like more than settling down in my workshop with a cup of tea, some talk radio and a conveyor belt of button holes to prepare! My little work shop can look like a flower bomb has hit it at times - but it really is the prettiest mess!
