What inspired you to start your own business?

Working for myself I am able to provide a personal service, with flexibility . I love flowers. My first after school job was at a flower gallery in New Zealand. I went on to train as a florist 20 years ago and moved to the Uk in 2002. We have two young children who are both at school and I am able to combine my floristry with family life, by employing a fantastic team to assist me.

Why should our clients choose you?

I offer a relaxed yet professional approach, working with you to create your dream flowers.

Maybe its better to see what some of my brides have said:
"Sarah is passionate about flowers, her creativity and individuality shines through in her work" - Kelley
"Sarah really listens to what you want and does an amazing job creating beautiful pieces far beyond my expectations" - Colette
"I have since recommended sarah to friends also getting married as she made the process so easy , relaxing and enjoyable" - Michelle

What do you love most about your job?

Making people happy with flowers! I really enjoy the whole process from the initial meeting to seeing the joy on the Big Day

The average couple spends around £1,000 on wedding flowers. However, many couples spend less whilst others spend more. Whatever your budget, there will be plenty of options available to you. It’s best to contact your preferred florist for a quote as early as possible to talk through the options available for your budget and to secure your date.

If you’re looking to save money on your wedding flowers, there are a few options to choose from. Sunflowers and tulips are ideal options for spring and summer weddings, keeping costs to a minimum whilst still looking great. If you’re having a winter wedding, opt for lillies or chrysanthemums for a burst of colour on a budget.

It’s never too early to book your wedding flowers, especially if you’re hoping to book a specific florist. You should book your wedding flowers at least six months in advance, but for the best chance of securing your favourite florist, you should contact them as soon as you’ve set a date. You’ll then be able to finalise the plans for your flowers closer to your wedding day.
