I commissioned NH Architecture in the spring of 2013 to redesign the house we had just bought at auction in Derby. I was recommended to NH Architecture by a friend who had also had plans drawn by them for their new self build house in Alfreton. We visited their property and were blown away with the design of their new house and contacted Nick as soon as our sale was completed.As soon as the first set of plans and drawings were presented to us by Nick, we were very pleased with the design and even more exited and keen to get building. Unfortunately we had a battle to get through planning but Nick was exceptional at negotiating a suitable solution. In the end we were more than happy with the slightly revised design and the planning officer was satisfied too and so then granted planning permission soon after. We began building in late summer, we used a local builder who Nick had recommended and everything went as smoothly as living on a building site can do!! Ultimately, Nick was very good at guiding us through what seemed at the start to be a very daunting process.We cannot rate NH Architecture highly enough and would recommend Nick to anyone thinking of having an extension.
