Hello! I'm a current masters in piano Performance student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and teacher at the Glasgow School of Music. I teach people of all sort of age groups including begginers and intermediates. My recent relevant experience includes working with Paisley Opera workshops as a pianist and musical director in primary and secondary schools, annually performing at RCS Piano, Plug and other festivals, and last month's performance at private RCS event for the Prince Charles.
The Glasgow School of Music (GSofM) offers a wide range of music lessons taught by experienced, professional tutors. We strive to provide the best tuition within Glasgow. Each lesson is personally tailored for you by your personal tutor.
We welcome students of all ages and abilities, whether you wish to learn new music skills or you are an advanced musician looking for advice and guidance.
I want to know singing I want to play guitar & Piano I want to learn these things
In 2016 I gained BA degree in music, specialised in Jazz music and singing, and a teaching qualification. Through the experiences I have gained whilst obtaining my degree, I have developed a passion for career in pedagogy.
My interest in music cognition comes hand in hand with musical teaching. It allows me to provide flexible and innovative approaches to the delivery of the subject and create new learning techniques in order to bring out the best potential in a student.
Paul Murray Music Tuition teaches Piano, composition and theory and caters to all ages and levels of playing.
Other services offered:
post-production, video editing, sound design, sound editing, Foley, recordist.
For me, teaching is a career in which you get back as much as you put in. From the very first lesson to the first exam every achievement made is an achievement that I take pride in. I have been teaching for over 9 years now and the same applies today as it did when I first started - every lesson is different, and that is what make me love my job so much.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Starting my own business was always something that I wanted to achieve. However, after graduating for the third time I realised that I had enough know-how to get started and the educational back up to prove to potential customers that I have the knowledge and ability to teach - I finally got to a point where it was the correct step for me career-wise.
Why should our clients choose you?
Every client is different. This is something I discovered about a year into my teaching career - the same lesson wasn't necessarily the correct lesson for another. Since then, I tailor each lesson for each of my pupils to get the best out of each individual. I have a learning structure which caters to everyone and everyone will develop their musical skills at their own pace. Clients should choose me because I have what it takes to harness a pupil's ability and develop it to the highest level.
