Animals at Home (West Staffordshire) Ltd

Staffordshire

Choose from a complete range of Animals at Home services including: • Dog Walking • Cat Feeding and Companionship • Dog Holidays • Pet/House Sitting • Animal Ambulance • Pet Taxi/Pet Transport • Rabbit and Guinea Pig Care • Small Fluffies and Exotics • Horse and Pony Care • Smallholding and Hobby Animal Care • Pet Cremation We are Jeff and Donna Garratty and we share our Lichfield home with our Weimaraner (Ruby) and our Bengal cat (Meena). We have been part of the Animals at Home franchise since 01 June 2016 when we began a new start-up branch in North Warwickshire. We grew it into a thriving pet care business before selling and relocating, just so that we could do it all over again in West Staffordshire! Since we began, we have loved and cared for the most amazing pets. We’ve learned so much from each and every one of them. We never take for granted the trust that is given to us by our clients to look after their homes, and their beloved furry-folk. For that, they can expect a first-class service, and our client reviews speak for themselves! We have both received professional animal training at a RCVS veterinary hospital which involves first aid, animal handling, hygiene and pet nutrition, and we hold a City & Guilds Level 2 Qualification in Technical Competence in Dog Walking. Our specially equipped pet transport/animal ambulance vehicles are DEFRA approved and licensed for pet welfare in transport. Ideal for routine vet journeys or emergencies including out of hours. Drivers are pet first aid trained and experienced pet handlers. When the time comes to say goodbye to your beloved pet, we also provide a compassionate and professional pet cremation service, ensuring that their ashes are returned home to you by the end of the next working day. Each of our team members is trained, insured and DBS checked for your peace of mind, and we hold a 3-year, 5 star-rated animal boarding establishment licence across all of our host families (dog home boarders). We provide an individual care package, tailored to meet the needs of your pet so why not contact us now to see how we can help? Your pets are our passion! Thank you. What do you love most about your job?

Everyone who works with animals does so because of their love for them, and we do too of course. However, we also enjoy the relationships we have with our clients, and the ongoing training we undergo in our quest to be the best we can be. There is so much variety in what we do - no two days are the same!

What inspired you to start your own business?

Jeff & I had a moment of madness! We were both in secure jobs that paid well and which we enjoyed. However, we wanted to work together doing something we loved, and we shared a common goal which was to work full time with animals. We chose the Animals at Home franchise because of the variety of services we can offer our clients, and because of their ethics of 'doing it properly for your pets'. This is our second franchise - we grew our first from scratch in 2016 and then sold in order to relocate to Lichfield. It is here that we started our second branch to do it all over again!

Why should our clients choose you?

Reliability, trustworthiness, professionalism and top notch service! It's not enough to just 'love animals' these days as clients expect so much more from their pet care service provider. Our standards are high and we invest heavily in our personal and professional development. We hold recognised qualifications and accreditations in pet care, and we are fully licensed and insured. We always do the right thing by our clients and their furry-folk as it's really important to us that we do a good job. We recruit team members who hold the same values as us and who take pride in what they do. Our clients always tell us they trust us with their homes and their pets, and that we give them peace of mind. Our client reviews reflect that.
