Since my retirement from the legal profession ten years ago I have been walking and caring for dogs in Surrey my home county working with a friend, This year I have been lucky enough to move to Norfolk near to friends and family. I have an elderly and truly lovely liver spot dalmatian, Basil. I live in a village just south of Norwich and have amazing safe doggie walks from my house. I drive a large hatchback car with plenty of room and soft rugs! I normally walk for an hour approximately but more than happy to walk for a shorter time if this is preferable for your dog. It is not necessary for my dog to be with me if your dog does not like company, I understand some dogs like their own company.
Walking dogs is so rewarding, most dogs revel in a walk as if they are doing it for the first time! which makes it a joy. I have owned dogs all my working life and know how hard it is sometimes to get the care of your dog just right, I have required a backup plan for exercising my dog on occasions and been so pleased to have a dog walker I could call on. By walking a much loved pet I can help a family keep their dog exercised and fit and owners have the flexibility to walk in their leisure time.
A close friend has kennels and I had more time when I retired to help walk and feed the dogs and chat with owners, The move to Norfolk was always planned for 2023 and I'm so pleased to be here, I just love it. I found I missed the dogs and the walking so set up as a pro on Bark.
