I have taken Dog Boarding up as a hobby and for company as I live alone. I am an active pensioner who loves dogs and walking them. I am also honest and trustworthy. I will not let anyone down. I have been granted a four star licence which permits me to legally board dogs at my home. Also fully insured and recently attended a Canine First Aid Course and attained proficiency award certificate.

We would definitely recommend Happy Paws. Rachel and Andy kept us up to date by posting regular updates on there Facebook page. It was our dog Charlie’s first time away from us and I was nervous on how he was going to settle. Charlie was made to feel very welcome from the start and settled in straight away. He went on regular walks and runs and was sometimes out for most of the day.
I can’t thank you enough for making Charlie feel welcome and part of your lovely family. I’m sure Charlie is already missing you all including Olgar.
What are the benefits of using a Pet Sitter?
Many people choose to use a pet sitter for the knowledge that their pet is in safe and caring hands. Many pet sitters are happy to regularly communicate with you by sending photos and videos, so you know your pet is being cared for while you’re away. Hiring a pet sitter to look after your pet in your own home also means that you won’t have to transport your pet or worry about them being in a new environment.
Should you choose a dog sitter or kennels?
The decision between hiring a dog sitter or using kennels is a personal choice and depends largely on your dog’s temperament. Dogs who are prone to being lonely or nervous often prefer to be cared for by a dog sitter in their own home as they enjoy the close and personal contact. If you choose to put your dog in kennels, you’ll also need to ensure that your dog is vaccinated against kennel cough.
How do you find a reputable Pet Sitter?
The best way to ensure that your pet sitter is reputable and trustworthy is through recommendations from previous customers. When you hire a pet sitter on Bark, you can browse the profiles of local professionals and read genuine reviews from former clients to ensure that you’re choosing the right carer for your pet.
