NEW GCSE 1 to 9 Format and Syllabus
GCSE 9-1 has made it difficult for students to gain good grades. These grades will usually increase as the amount of tuition and self-practice increases. Therefore commencing early should lead to improved results in the GCSE exams.
Although the syllabus has only changed slightly the new topics expected of the students are in the difficult range and usually need specific attention

• A trial lesson can be delivered for 30 minutes this enables you, the student and I to get to know each other and check that we think things will work out Ok
• (Sometimes my delivery and style can be too intense for some students, even though it is always positive and friendly!)
• Students usually opt for a 1 hour lesson but 90 minute or 2 hour lessons allow enhanced delivery of ideas topics and practice exercises.
• I was born with innate ability in Maths and assisted in my teachers in class throughout my school and polytechnic years. This commenced at the ripe old age of 6 years old!! I am passionate about Maths and about understanding the processes of studying, learning then passing exams.
I provide online services via Zoom, Skype and Facetime. I will travel upto 20 miles to work on a one to one face to face basis at the students home. i also hold these sessions at my home if necessary.
When we are studying in my home the equipment is frequently wiped down and cleaned. the process is repeated on completion of each session. If required I wear PPE when teaching at the students home.
