I have been glued to magic from 2012, I watched a magician perform an incredible card trick, which blew my mind, just before the 2012 London Olympics. He gave me a deck of cards and that set me off. From then I have never put a pack of cards down, and I am constantly learning and fiddling with my cards. I became a member of the Young Magic Circle in 2014 and I attend all lectures and conventions to improve my magic knowledge. The Circle has opened many doors and has introduced me to a lot of very well known magicians, with this networking I have gained a fair amount of followers on Instagram, showing my passion for the craft. My Instagram page is simply just my name and it has helped get my name some what out there into the magic world. I also collect different decks of cards and other magic tricks, which is like a hobby to me and I would say I have over 300 decks of cards and many more magic tricks. I started doing private parties and events professionally about a year ago, slowly making my way up and showing off my skills.
Normally I perform close up magic involving cards, mentalism and other objects. This is what I am best at as I can engage with the spectators standing right in front of me, performing magic close up and letting them experience magic in my hands and even in theres. Close up magic leaves the spectators with something to talk about as it happened so close to their eyes. However big the event I will make my way around making sure everyone gets to see some sort of magic. Finding little groups and doing them a few tricks then moving on and spreading the magic around the venue. I can leave spectators with signed cards and other small objects so they can remember there night. I have done many stage shows in the past which last around 15-20 minutes which have been great, I wouldn't mine doing both if need be.
The best thing about it is, it does not feel like a job to me as I am doing something I truly love. Entertaining large audiences with close up magic gives me an amazing buzz and when a spectator is shocked or amazed by an illusion it makes me feel very happy deep down as I have put a smile on that persons face.
I wanted to become my own business from a young age and when the inspiration for magic opened up I took it and turned it into something I love. From watching a professional magician perform a trick to then becoming very good friends with that magician and him helping me improve my craft. I have loved every step improving my skills. To do this as a living would mean a lot as it is very hard for young guys my age to find a job they love and lucky for me I have found it.
You should choose me as I am something completely different, I am not your typical magician, I am a young man who is fresh with ideas and uses various things to make magic. I consider myself different, I am young and vibrant and you do not normally find someone my age performing magic to large crowds and keeping them entertained, I am very enthusiastic and all I want to do is amaze.
