Founder Katherine Richards takes particular pride in ensuring that every aspect of every project undertaken is tailored to the needs of the most discerning clients, with the highest expectations of quality.

As a professional interiors photographer I've worked with lots of accomplished designers over the last 15 years. Katherine Richards Design is one of my favourite clients to shoot for as their projects are always inspiring, unique and reflective of a rare talent; I've always liked the way that Katherine's work doesn't simply absorb and regurgitate current trends but instead epitomizes a design process that produces interiors as individual as her clients. In today's homogenous society, Katherine's approach and ideas are a breath of fresh air. Don't follow the trends, be an individual. Katherine gives her clients the confidence to express their personalities in their most private spaces, their homes. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Georgina recently helped me to design my home office, it was a great experience, she listened carefully to what I wanted and then set about making it a reality. She was great with my builder (she speaks their language) and now I have a beautiful, tranquil and practical place to work, I have to say it’s now my favourite room, well until she designs the next one!
Thanks, Sara

It was a pleasure working with Derrick who helped redesign the downstairs of our new-build house making it a home. Derrick was generous with his time, had a great eye for individual pieces of furniture that were within our budget and that worked together to create a unique style. Looking forward to working with Derrick again.

I ordered the 9 ball floor lamp. The service I received was hugely impressive and professional. The item matched the description on the website and World Home Living were very proactive in responding to my queries prior to purchase. The item was delivered and assembled ahead of schedule. Once it was installed and lit up, the feature looked amazing. We are very happy with this new addition to our home. The colours and the translucent effect is really amazing!

Hi, I am Rumcy Supra, lead designer and director of Supra Design. Supra Design is an interior architecture and design business that makes luxury design affordable. The company offers a personalised service capturing the spirit of the client and the essence of their space. We currently cover all areas in England (get in touch if you have a project for us) and for E-Design service cover all of UK. As the Director and lead interior architect of Supra Design, I have personally worked on many residential and commercial projects, some of which are for exclusive clients, as well as, with property developers. No project is too small or big for us and all types of style can be designed for our clients. My team of designers can offer from as little as a room design, through to a turn key project and project managing the final design scheme. The following services are available to our clients: - Design & Build - Architectural Services (Plans for planning permission & ways to utilise space to maximum potential) - Interior Design - E-Design - Technical Drawings - 3D Visuals - Consultation - Source & Supply - Project Management - Bespoke Design
The interior design process at Supra Design is very simple.
FREE 30 MIN CONSULTATION – HOME CONSULTATION - SITE SURVEY – DESIGN PROCESS – PRESENTATION – SOURCE & SUPPLY – INSTALL
It all starts with a FREE 30 MIN TELEPHONE CONSULTATION where a designer will try to understand the client’s brief. During this first step, the client may provide with existing floor plans as well as inspirations if they wish. Using the information provided an estimate can be created prior to visiting the house.
HOME CONSULTATION gives the designer a chance to speak with the client one-to-one and understand the spatial design.
SITE SURVEY taking measurements of the client’s home.
After a brief and the measurements are taken, the designer begins to work on the DESIGN PROCESS to build a scheme for the client’s home.
A PRESENTATION of the design scheme is presented to the client. Any changes to the design will be discussed and amended until the desired scheme is achieved.
Once the design is finalised, the designer can SOURCE & SUPPLY the furniture required for the scheme. From handling orders through to delivery and any other problems faced, our designer will handle it professionally.
The INSTALL will take place once all items have been delivered and ready to be fitted at the client's house. A designer will project manage the install making sure everything is handled smoothly and accurately.
Overall, the interior design service is flexible where the client may just want a consultation, design only service, or the full interior design service. Whatever it is, Supra Interior services are hassle-free and a peace of mind for the client.
All types of styles: Minimal, Contemporary, Modern, Scandinavian, Luxury and bespoke style. Just give us a brief and examples of inspiration (we on Houzz/ Pinterest so you can share your idea board with us).
The passion to help clients achieve their vision through ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN, whether it is a big or a small budget, I love that challenge about my job! Also, capturing the client's vision and communicating it through design is not easy for a designer. However, going on a personal design journey with a client and having the opportunity to see the final design installed at their site is also the best part of the job.
Supra Interior was inspired to offer clients a unique opportunity to share their story and use second sets of mind to design a space that has a meaning to them. A few companies force their client upon the designer designs to keep up with the trend. However, I wanted my business to connect with the client one-on-one and understand their needs and narrate a story together that can be lived in.
Supra Design offers friendly and flexible services tailored to their client’s needs. To make the company service different from any other services in the market, I am constantly finding new ways to make the design unique and bespoke for those who are willing to spend, as well as, affordable for those who are on a budget.

What preparation should I do before meeting with an Interior Designer?
Firstly, it is important to have an idea of what you like and don’t like. This is a really useful starting point for what styles will work for you which will be used by the Interior Designer to formulate some suitable concepts.
There are a number of ways which will help you decide your favourite styles such as:
Magazines – It is a good idea to browse through interior design magazines such as Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Galerie Magazine and Veranda.
Social media – Have a look at their social media platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest which will give you a good idea of their style and moreover will showcase their portfolios.
Local media – Take a look at their websites and see if you can find any local press coverage on any projects they have undertaken.
Visits – Try and visit art galleries, antique shops or fashion boutiques to get a sense of what styles you like.
What should I consider before deciding on my Interior Designer?
Personality fit - You want to make sure there is a good personality fit with your Interior Designer. Projects can go on for months or even years.
Client involvement - Some designers prefer consulting with a client every step of the process whereas others prefer full creative control so you want to know ahead of time what to expect. As a client, you should know how you like to work and how much involvement you expect from the start.
Inspiration - If you ask questions about their favourite projects you can get a peek into how he or she navigates the creative process.
Communication - Ask detailed questions about the firm’s strengths and weaknesses which will help you determine whether or not it is the right match for your project and timeline.
Project management style - Be sure to ask your designer how they will communicate their vision in a way that you can easily digest. Some Interior Designers manage the entire process from the design phase, through the procurement phase and the final installation. Every designer handles project management differently so it is important to have a firm and clear grasp of how your designer’s process works.
Design risks – Sometimes the initial design presentation may not be what you are looking for. The key is to be open-minded, prepare yourself for some design risks and be honest with how you are feeling. The designs should speak to you as you will have to live with them.
Past clients - It is a good idea to ask about previous projects to understand how crises are dealt with and how the designer has factored in preventative measures.
Budget - It is important to talk about budgets beforehand rather than in the middle of a project which can make a world of difference in terms of avoiding unnecessary conflict. It is worth getting a few quotations from different Interior Designers before deciding on a specific style.
How do I check the Interior Designers’ credentials?
You should look for a degree, foundation degree or HND in relevant subjects such as architecture, fine art, furniture design, interior and spatial design, interior architecture, textile design and 3D design.
Before you choose an Interior Designer, you could ask to see examples of their work, read testimonials and view before and after pictures of rooms and homes they have designed.
You could also look at their profile page on Bark and check out reviews from past customers too as well as examples of work that they have completed. This might also help you get some ideas for the types of design you need.
What services does an Interior Designer provide?
Interior designers cover a number of different aspects. They prepare detailed plans for the space showing the colour scheme, materials, lighting and soft furnishings they recommend. They also provide clients with detailed drawings, mood boards and scale models if required. Some designers will create interactive digital presentations to show you their designs. They will also show you samples of the materials that they recommend for your home.
Can I hire an Interior Designer online?
Yes, you can. An online interior designer will ask you questions about your budget and preferences, and then they will design a 'virtual' room, filling it with real furniture you can purchase - pretty neat stuff!
