Summer Breeze Building profile image

Summer Breeze Building

We are a general building firm that was established in 2012. We have worked on a variety of jobs big and small. Including complete renovations of internal spaces to refresh and rejuvenate older buildings, this has and can include movement of internal walls, installation of steel joists etc where needed. Garages, loft extensions, opening planning etc. We have also carried out full house projects where we have added additional floors to building, added gable ends to buildings and dormer's and roof extensions to better utilise the space in your building. We also carry out all external work, including garden building construction, decking construction etc. No job too big or small and full team of trained professionals onboard. If I do not have the expert on my team to complete the job I will source one and include as part of any quotes. We can even offer assistance with planning and applications.

What do you love most about your job?

Meeting new people and constantly working on new projects. I also love helping people see more from there property than they could. I also love generating outside areas that people can enjoy when we get the opportunity, think this comes from my BBQ obsession.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I was initially a plasterer many moons ago and saw a gap in the market, also plastering day in day out was very tedious so I began to develop my other building skills back in 2000, this included spending more time working with different trades and working on larger projects. I had a business management qualification from when I was younger and so decided to put all of the above in to use and began Summer Breeze, I am now lucky enough to be able to either project manage the bigger jobs or get stuck in and hands dirty on the smaller jobs.

Why should our clients choose you?

We offer quality and above all reliability, we have been a business for nearly 8 years now however I have a team and access to a support network of other professionals in the trade with decades and decades of years between them (that's just the spark)

Handymen are often happy to carry out basic electrical tasks such as changing light bulbs or installing simple light fittings. However, they are not qualified electricians so are not insured or qualified to do any electrical work that requires certification. If you need electrical work, it’s best to contact an electrician or look for a handyman who is also a qualified electrician.

When you’re looking for a handyman, it’s important to ensure that they have the appropriate insurance. As a minimum, they’ll need public liability insurance which covers accidental damage to your property and any accidents that may occur. You should always ask handymen about their insurance policy before hiring them.

The best way to ensure that you’re choosing a reliable and trustworthy handyman is to opt for a handyman who has good reviews. Some people are able to get recommendations from friends and family, but what do you do if you don’t know anyone who has hired a handyman before? You can search for a handyman on Bark for free, where you can browse the profiles of local handymen and read genuine reviews from former clients to help you to make the right decision.
