Describe your creative process.

I am very much a 'less is more' kind of designer, I have a bold, clean, minimalist style that conveys clarity above all else. More often than not I will start with a pencil and a blank piece of paper to sketch out initial ideas, I find this process more organic. I will only start working on a Mac once I have some solid ideas I fell are worth developing. Design is a process and with constructive feedback from the client I create the perfect solution.

What information do you need from a client before you can start work?

The best clients for me have a basic idea of what they are looking for and have examples of existing designs or styles they like. They will have highlighted their main competitors so we can work how to make the client stand out. They will respect me as a design professional and understand that I am the expert, giving serious considerations to my design solutions and provide good feedback to help develop the design.

What do you love most about your job?

I have the freedom to be creative and deliver my best work to really impress and delight my clients. It is a wonder feeling helping clients to achieve and grow their business. I'm only as good as my clients and the work I produce, my success is directly linked to that of my clients.

What inspired you to start your own business?

After several years working as an in-house designer I wanted the freedom to deliver the kind of customer service and professional design solutions I feel my clients deserve. I wanted to make the process as easy and jargon free for my clients as possible. Investing in professional design solutions can be daunting and I want my clients to understand the value it can add to their businesses.
