What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Following the statement from the Prime Minister on 5th April 2021, we have updated our policy and practices considering government guidance.
Firstly, we remain open an active. Your garden could be a haven over the next few months in these unprecedented times not seen in generations. Your project is as important to us as it is to you, and we will endeavour to navigate the situation with realism and guidance from the United Kingdom Government.
Fortunately, most of our teams are involved with work outside, which is not undertaken in confined environments and reduces the risk associated with the virus. Therefore, we believe we can offer greater assurances to our clients, staff and sub-contractors. However, common sense and best practices must be followed to ensure we keep you safe and allow our work to continue. Therefore, we are implementing the following practices.

1. All sites remain open and active with a reduced workforce of three or less. In most situations, we ask our teams to work in teams of two.
2. All teams are carrying disinfectant wipes and wear face masks and gloves off-site when visiting suppliers and fuel stations.
3. Lead times on materials will increase due most of all aggregates and supplies now being delivered in a contactless approach.
What does this means for us – We will plan further in advance to ensure your project has materials when expected so the work can continue without interruption.
4. Some materials must be collected in person and merchants, hardware stores and timber suppliers are offering Drive-Thru service with one vehicle at a time.
What does this mean for us – There may be delays arriving at your project if we are waiting for materials due to new safety measures. We will advise you the day before if we are going to a supplier the next day, so you are kept fully informed.

Aside from building a wall, the strongest and most durable type of fence is vinyl. Vinyl fencing can last for over 30 years, without any maintenance being required. Vinyl fencing remains strong and robust whilst wooden fencing may begin to warp, shrink or rot over time. Vinyl is resistant to rain, snow and temperature changes, making it one of the most durable types of fencing available.

Automatic electric gates are a great way to improve the security of your house whilst increasing its curb appeal. A house which is equipped with electric gates is statistically less likely to be broken into than a house without gates. Installing an electric gate will also give you peace of mind if you have children or pets, as the gates will keep them contained within your property.

There are many pros and cons of wooden and vinyl fencing that need to be weighed up before making your decision. Vinyl fencing is much more durable and long lasting than wood and requires virtually no maintenance throughout its lifespan. However, vinyl fencing is also more expensive than wood and is more difficult to paint if you want to change its colour.
