So we used Anna the first time to watch our King Charles cav's last year when we went on holiday.Anna delivers an exceptional service because she really cares for the animals. Straight away they were at ease with her & for the first time we relaxed when away!Anna has the biggest heart out of anyone I know and combines this with her passion for animals to deliver something truly unique. She also understands animal nutrition and is currently doing an animal communication diploma.Highly recommend her and will use her again pretty soon, thank you x

I was nervous about getting a dog walker as my rescue lurcher is not a straightforward walk! However, I do not worry one bit when he is out with Kirsty and know he's safe and getting lovely walks around the area. Kirsty always lets me know how the walk went and sends some photos. I would wholeheartedly recommend her and am so pleased we found her!

Just taken my Husky, Wolfy to get groomed here and its the best groomers we have ever been to. We've tried many other places and he has never came back looking so good. The before and after is unbelievable. He came back completely dry, which has never happened before and his nails have even been clipped, which again has never happened before. I cant recommend Tail Wags enough and will go back again without hesitation. I have also got to say the ladies that work here are really patient unlike some of the places, that I wont mention, that we have been to in the past.

We are a professional, friendly, family run dog walking business based in the North Tyneside coastal area. We are fully insured, licenced by North Tyneside Council, DBS checked and animal first aid trained. We hold an Ofqual Regulated level 3 qualification in Professional Day Care and Boarding which allows us to achieve the higher standard as set out in the Animal Welfare Regulations. We have a secure, enclosed, private field/paddock with a fence all round, which we use for dog walking for our groups, providing peace of mind that your dog is in a safe, supervised environment whilst enjoying exercise and play with his or her dog pals! We offer social media uploads and photo feedback, enabling you to stay involved with your furry family, when it is not possible for you to be with them in person. We can also provide pet sitting and puppy drop in services so your furry VIP is always taken care of in the event of your work commitments, trips or holidays. We provide a flexible approach and will discuss your individual needs with you. We can be booked daily or weekly. You can be assured we promise to love your little VIP as much as you do! We give them as much care and attention as if they are our own.
We love meeting all the different breeds and personalities of dogs and pets, and building a long lasting relationship with them. It provides great job satisfaction to be out in the fresh air, seeing beautiful places around the North East and seeing how truly happy it makes the dogs and what a difference it brings to their day.
Having grown up with various pets, we have always had a deep love of animals. Having recently lived abroad for a period of time, it was seeing how the animals and in particular dogs were treated especially in comparison to most dogs back in the UK. It was this that inspired us to set up Mutts About Walking as we wanted offer a service that would really make a difference and enchance the life of our most treasured furry family members. We all know the love and happiness our pets give us unconditionally, and we recognise the importance of giving this back to them and how it's the simple things we can do to brighten their day.
We will be providing an individual service for your pets, by taking time to get to know them and their personalities. We offer a free no obligation home consultation in order for us to meet you and your pet, and discuss exactly how we can help with your needs and requirements.
Our service enables you to be as involved as you like with your pet's day. We can provide social media updates (Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, e-mail, iMessage or text) with photo uploads and feedback on how much your pet is enjoying their time.
We are licensed by North Tyneside Council for Home Boarding and Dog Day Care, fully insured, DBS checked, pet walking and pet sitting certified, as well as first aid trained, so you are safe in the knowledge that your loved ones are being cared for just as much as if you were with them.
When pet sitting, if you are aware for a length of time, we can also help to ensure the safety of your property for example by switching lights on and off.
When transporting dogs in the company vehicle we want to ensure the safety of each dog, so they are secure in their own individual crate.
We never walk more than 4 dogs together, although solo walks are also an option should this be preferred.
How much does a Dog Walker cost?
The price of hiring a dog walker will depend on the area of the UK in which you live, with prices typically higher in the South of England and particularly in London. The cost of hiring a dog walker will often be lower in the North of England and in Scotland and Wales.
What should I look for in a Dog Walker?
The most important thing when you’re hiring a dog walker is that both you and your dog trust them. You should also ensure that your dog walker has public liability insurance that covers them in case of damage, accident or loss. The best way to find a reliable and trustworthy dog walker is by reading reviews of previous clients. When you hire a dog walker through Bark, you can browse the profiles of dog walkers in your local area and read honest reviews from genuine customers.
How many dogs can a Dog Walker walk at once?
It is recommended that a dog walker should walk a maximum of four dogs at a time, to enable them to maintain good control of each dog. Most dog walkers will give you the option of having your dog walked alone or with other dogs. Walking with other dogs will help your dog to develop valuable social skills. However, if your dog is reactive, you may prefer for them to be walked alone.
