I offer a dog walking and dog sitting service. I can host dogs in my own home if I am dog sitting. I live on a farm up a track, I have no other pets, a large garden and extensive access to walks in the surrounding area. With dog walking, I am happy to travel to your home and walk the dogs in your locale. If required, I can also help train your dog whilst I walk it.
I have always been a keen dog lover and have been described as a 'dog whisperer' or 'dog behaviourist'. I feel passionate about the importance of meeting the needs of the dog. If the dog is happy and well trained they will be more likely to be a great companion for you and have a great quality of life. I have been walking and looking after other peoples dogs for 20 years. I have had my own dog, who was a perfect little dog, she never needed to go on the lead and was impeccably behaved and very loyal. As I am offering my services to host and work with other peoples dogs, I think it best not to have my own, this means I can give 100% to whichever dog(s) I am looking after for you.
I have recently left a job working with children and families and although I love people, I really enjoy the outdoors and making dogs' lives that bit happier, so have set myself up as a self-employed dog walker/sitter. I have been looking after people's dogs for many years and think that I do a good job of offering each dog a great time either for just walks or a residential stay at my house up on the hill.
I am calm, patient, clear with boundaries, confident, have a good sense of humour and love dogs! I am reliable, trustworthy and dedicated.
