In the summer, we re-homed our second dog. We started looking for a dog trainer after he started snapping at our other dog. After calling around to a few dog trainers, getting prices and hearing what they have to offer, we chose Nickola. She was very reasonably priced for the service offered, but that wasn't why I chose her. After a chat on the phone, it was very obvious that her first priority was my dog's health. She could easily have taken our money and booked the training session, but she recommended a vet check first. Her care for my dogs was apparent then, but was made obvious when she came to our house for the training session. She went through a thorough history with us, advised what behaviours we should adjust, and showed us how to teach our dogs the behaviours we wanted them to have. It's been about a week and a half since that session, and we can already see dramatic improvement with our dogs! Could not be happier!
I--without a doubt--recommend her services. I only wish I found her sooner!

I started Brush Stroke Pet Services as a dream that I needed to make a reality! I wanted to be able to provide a full all round care service for pets, whether it be walking them, grooming them or looking after them with general day to day care whilst you are away. I am fully insured and DBS checked, I currently have a diploma in dog walking and pet sitting and I am currently training to become a fully qualified dog groomer as well.

I love the fact that I get to spend every day with these wonderful animals, getting to know their personalities and making them happy. To be able to wake up every morning and look forward to be able to spend time with my favourite furry friends come rain or shine, they always bring a smile to my face!
I felt truly inspired to start Brush Stroke Pet Services after bringing our gorgeous cockerpoo into our family. She is an anxious dog that is wary of strangers and as a high energy dog that needed a lot of exercise as well as needing regular grooming, she was always quite nervous about meeting different people when it came to needing extra care for her; groomers, walkers, sitters and vets etc. So I thought there should be someone that can be able to provide these services for her so she only needs to get to know one extra person that she can trust, and while I may not be able to become a vet, I could certainly become her groomer, walker and carer and so the idea of Brush Strokes was born.
I believe that I provide a calm, reliable, caring service for your pets. I want them to feel relaxed and comfortable whilst they are in my care as they're happiness is the most important aspect to my job. I tailor each day to the pets that I am working with making sure that I can provide the absolute best for them, whether that be a calm and gentle groom for a timid anxious pup or a high energy charge around for a lively dog. If you have pets that need checking on whilst you are away I will stick to a reliable routine for them and maintain a quiet, calm atmosphere for your small pets so as not to disturb or upset them in anyway.
