‘20 Certificate of Excellence

Hi there. I'm delighted to offer you a range of services focussed on training and behavior change. I have an Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour (British College of Canine Studies). My ambition is to help prevent unwanted behaviour through puppy education and training but I also work with dogs that have developed behavioural issues too. All my clients have continuing access to me by telephone, text and email and can contact me for support on an ongoing basis. I also have a secure, one acre paddock at my home which is available for my clients to use for training.

What do you love most about your job?

I just love dogs and enjoy every aspect of them. It is so rewarding to empower people to start changing their relationship with their dog. I've had considerable success dealing with challenging behaviour issues such as fear aggression and separation anxiety. I thrive on helping clients and dogs improve their relationship and to see a dog start to relax and enjoy life more is amazing.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I decided to take early retirement from my job in Public Health to pursue my career with dogs. We are lucky to live in a property and be in a situation that enables me to dedicate my time to my passion. As well as training I home boarded dogs for 2 years and I’m also a qualified groomer with my own home-based salon.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am professional and reliable and charge very reasonable rates so clients can afford ongoing support if they need it. I provide you with a written report and step-by-step training plan as part of the package so that you always have a reference. I know that it's so difficult to take everything in that's discussed!

I have a secure acre paddock that can be used for training purposes too when we want to try long-distance recall for example. I also have a very willing, playful but balanced Labrador called Murphy who is brilliant with other dogs!

In addition I’ve got a City and Guilds Adult Education Qualification so know how to effectively ‘teach’ clients. After all, ultimately, it’s YOU that will be training your dog and who will have the lifelong relationship😊
