Scott is very professional and takes the time to understand exactly what you need and then gets to know your dog (in our case, Harry) well.
Harry has problems with strangers but has shown improvements since we have been using Scott (4 sessions so far). We hope to continue to improve on Harry’s behaviour and perhaps continue to use Scott as Harry looks forward to his sessions :-)

What do you love most about your job?
Animals - especially dogs, they are the most amazing companions and having the privilege of working with, walking or looking after clients animals is so rewarding and satisfying. I relish the challenge of helping owners who are struggling with their troublesome pooches and guiding them on the journey to a better behaved pet. I started as a dog walker and pet sitter and this is also as important to me now, treating all pets as I would want mine treated.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked for over 30 years in logistics being made redundant was a blessing in disguise. I decided to use my experience working with and training dogs to help other pet owners, whether it's to improve their behaviour or help out by walking or sitting , it fulfils a lifelong ambition to work with animals.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have studied hard and continue to do so to ensure I use the most up to date training methods that are scientifically proven and so that I have the knowledge of canine behaviour to help even the most difficult of cases, so whether it's just general puppy training or a more pressing behaviour issue I can help.
For my walking and pet sitting services, I understand how difficult it is to let someone else look after your precious pets, I have 4 Border Collie dogs and would never put them in kennels or let them be looked after by anyone. Therefore I want my clients to understand that I will look after their pets with the same care and attention I do my own. I offer a fully professional service for complete peace of mind.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I can offer remote services through Zoom or Skype but when dealing with behaviour issues I always prefer to see the dog in person so I can observe their body language and behaviour to assess the best course of training.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I follow all Covid-19 requirements, ensuring that I use good hygiene practices (hand washing, equipment washing, sanitization, use of PPE) and will carry out a risk assessment for all clients, working with them to ensure that we operate in a covid-secure manner.
Dog Training
One to one dog training using only positive reinforcement reward based techniques. These are scientifically proven to deliver lasting results and are much kinder than old school methods related to discipline and dominance theories.
Dog Walking
I offer individual or group walks for your dog or dogs. Each service can be tailored to your specific requirements - and you can be assured your precious dog(s) are in the best possible hands.
House Visits
I offer home visits both for a quick check to let your puppy out or play to longer overnight visits for those going away and like me don't want to put their pets in kennels.
I can cater for most pets and as services are tailored to each individual requirement I can also carry out basic duties during my visits such as closing curtains, turning lights on or off, opening, closing windows etc.
Pet Taxi
I have a professionally fitted out ex-Police dog van with 4 huge cages to safely carry your precious pets in safety to the local vets or further afield as required. Every cage is fully ventilated, has water available and has escape hatches for an emergency. I am an ex-professional driver with an unblemished record so your pets will be safe in my care.
