I have nearly completed my 2nd year at Houghall studying animal care and i wanted to gain a bit more experience working with dogs so i volunteered at Black Bank Kennels i immediately felt like one of the family as Sue and Dave are great bosses they run an amazing facilities for dogs the kennels and cattery are really clean the dogs get plenty of exercise and attention as they are walked 3 times a day and plenty of time to play too nothing is ever to much trouble and i would have no hesitation as to leaving my animal in their care. i would recommend Black Bank Kennels to anyone 100 % they treat the animals as they would their own.

Her instruction around recall has made a huge difference with my stubborn husky. The only time that Tundra has ever run out of the house and down the street on her own, I used her recall word and she stopped in her tracks and returned to me - no small feat for a husky! Tundra has also learned to greet other dogs more gently, learning that not everyone wants to play right away, and Heather has taught us new ways to play together and make our walks more fun and stimulating.
