Much as you love your dog there are times and places you can't take him with you. This was becoming a real problem until we noticed the Animals at Home van just around the corner from us in Hastings. What a liberation! Lee responds at short notice, is totally reliable and our collie goes off with him without a backward glance (a bit galling for us). Teddy came to us from Spain as a rescue dog. He was very defensive and aggressive with other dogs and this was causing huge anxiety for both him and me when we were out. I asked Luke to help me and after just three one to one sessions and lots of work in between Teddy is a completely different dog. Luke gave both of us the tools and confidence we needed. Teddy now walks off the lead (off road) and enjoys interacting with other dogs. His recall is spot on and he is focussed on me all the time. He is a joy to have around and absolutely loves life now. James listened to exactly what it was that we wanted from him and what we wanted our dogs to do. For us, pulling on the lead when on a dog walk was one of them. Every session, James showed and explained very clearly what was needed from us in order to support our dogs with the specific training. By the end of our second session, I was able to walk both dogs without being dragged down the street. As well as this, he was able to reassure and helped me to control my anxiety when out with my dogs, especially when it came to other dogs being around. Finally, I no longer look like that dog owner that has no control over their dogs!
For me, it was money well spent and I would highly recommend a dog trainer for all dogs, especially a dog trainer like James!
