Anna has helped us hugely with our adopted dog Meryl. She has helped us understand how to ensure Meryl settled in with us and get used to a new family plus giving us activities Meryl will enjoy and help us bond with her. I have found Anna to be very positive and encouraging, honest and generous. It is lovely to see how Anna is always learning and stretching herself to gain more knowledge, she clearly loves what she does! I would wholeheartedly recommend Anna to anyone, with puppies or older dogs alike. More...

Anna is absolutely brilliant! We had a great session today connecting the dots and identifying areas of improvement for Luna’s behaviour. I feel armed with great tips and tricks to reinforce good behaviour and raise a happy pup, smiles all round! More...

I would recommend Anna’s services without hesitation. She has done wonders to not only build the confidence of my rescue dog Dolly, but also mine as an owner. I thoroughly enjoy each session and it is a joy to see Dolly get so much for it. The sessions are not over-whelming and all information shared is digestible with realistic (and fun!) ‘homework’ set each week. Anna also provides a thorough report each week to keep you fully updated and track progress. If you have a dog who is nervous, Anna is perfect for you. If you’re nervous, Anna is perfect for you. I have just completed the first 5 week course and immediately signed up for more. Thank you Anna! 5 stars! x More...

I'm onto our third trainer for our 9 month old Lurcher puppy and Anna is definitely the best by far. She clearly knows her stuff and approaches training in an animal-centric way. Pixie is learning so quickly and clearly enjoys it too. She is already a calmer and happier dog and we are now happier, more understanding and in-control owners too. Unlike some other trainers Anna doesn't force her opinions on you, she explains why she approaches things in her way but knows it is your dog and your choice. Having said this I have happily taken all of Anna's advice, all with positive results. Anna has taken the time to pursue training in animal welfare and behaviour, which is not a requirement, just her choice. She approaches her work as a very friendly but competent professional and I would have no hesitation in recommending her. More...

Anna was great at giving us really useful practical steps to help tackle our Boxers enthusiasm which were really easy to incorporate into our day to day. He’s so much better with other dogs now and it’s helped us enjoy walks rather than dread them. Thanks Anna More...

Dog Training

The dog belongs to my son and partner. Hank had 2 hours training yesterday and even in such a short time it has made the world of difference to the relationship of all of us and the dog. Good day out with walks and lunch at pub and he behaved very well. More...

Anna has walked and looked after my Springer Spaniel Ellie on several occasions and I can't recommend her services highly enough and Ellie always comes back with a smile on her face.

Q&As

Dog Behaviour and Training Consultation services help owners address and make informed decisions about how to deal with common problems they may be experiencing with their dogs. I firmly believe in offering owners the tools and knowledge so that they can understand their dog's issues and what they can do to alleviate the problem.

I've always dreamt of starting my own business working with animals because I love the joy that they bring and how great it is to see them happy. I volunteer at a number of local animal centres and I am very aware of the challenges of owning a dog (or any pet!). I started my dog walking and behaviour business in March 2013 after a successful career in Event Management. I have always had a passion for great customer service but also for dogs and animals. I quickly realised that I wanted to help people have a great relationship with their dog and fit them into their everyday lifestyles.

I promote positive, kind methods that improve your relationship with your dog along with environmental factors so that you can live in harmony. I can come to your house to work with you and your family on a one-to-one basis and provide long-term solutions that enable you to see the issue from the dog's point of view but also taking into account your expectations.
