Masterpiece Developments

We are very happy with the quality and workmanship of our new cupboard under the stairs. The carpenters Charlie and Jerry, and painter Radek were hard working and professional, as well as being a pleasure to have around. We would definitely use Masterpiece Developments again and highly recommend them. More...

They were polite, patient, punctual and respectful. Bart responded to my posting very quickly and arranged to look at the project the same day. He listened to what was needed and offered suggestions/advice to achieve the best outcome.
Today, he arrived promptly with his team and completed the work quickly & efficiently. The finished installation of a new side gate and matching fence panel has been completed to a high, professional standard.
The debris has been cleared & bagged for disposal and the whole area has been left clean & tidy.
I have no hesitation in recommending Bart and I'm hoping that he will be able to assist with some of my future planned endeavours! More...

Masterpiece developments were very efficient and managed to complete a job in one day that required masonry, carpentry and painting. I will use them again.

Bart is a very skilled and trustworthy carpenter. He replaced skirting boards in my lounge (on very uneven walls!) and it looks fantastic. He also did a very nice edge by my fireplace. Good communication throughout, turned up when he said he would, was very good with my young kids and did a great job. I wouldn’t hesitate using Bart again. More...

Bart answered my request for a quote to repair both of the posts on my stairs in the hallway which were broken and unstable.

He came out, did an assessment and discussed the options to repair them, unlike another company that contacted me and told me I would have to pay a call out charge for them to look at the issue - outrageous.

He sent through a quote which was reasonable for labour only, as I purchased the wooden posts.

He came back and began working on removing the old ones and installing the new ones, while cleaning up as he went along.

In total, he visited 4 times because he wanted to ensure that his work was perfect and he even painted the posts white with some gloss paint that I had left over, even though he admitted that painting was not his skill. He did a very professional job painting them.

Overall, he did an excellent job replacing the wooden posts on my staircase and it now looks really modern and I constantly get compliments from my friends and family when they visit.

I have no hesitation in recommending him for carpentry work because he is a hardworking and conscientious person who is not satisfied with a mediocre job, so won't leave it until he is 100% satisfied and you are too.

Thanks Bart. I'll definitely contact you again if I need a carpenter. More...

Highly recommend them! I wanted alcoves fitted with cupboards and shelves for the living room and this was one of the main / biggest projects that needed doing upon moving into our new flat. They were super patient, knowledgeable, paid attention to every detail (to ensure we were happy with every decision made) and even cleaned up so well after the work had been done! Couldn’t be happier with the brilliant outcome too. Thank you! More...

Bart did a great job replacing my bathroom door which included patching up part of the battered frame after I got locked in the bathroom. I now have a functioning door with a new handle and lock. He also kindly replaced the hanger from my old door onto the new one. He did an honest job and arrived on time (he had to come back next day while waiting for the repair of the frame to dry) and also took the time to call me to say he was running late. I appreciate him taking away the old door which I'd forgotten to mention in the original job spec. More...
