What do you love most about your job?

Discussing with clients the importance of Wills, Powers of Attorney and all other aspects of Estate Planning relevant to them. Afterall if we fail to plan, we plan to fail. Maintaining the highest standards of professionalism with all clients is paramount to our success.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Having worked for many years with a large legal firm in Edinburgh and subsequently with another legal firm in Glasgow - with solicitor offices throughout Scotland and also in England, I felt that not sufficient time was being spent with clients asking pertinent 'what if' questions, to ensure that specific, comprehensive bespoke solutions were provided for every client. Estate Planning Services (Scotland) takes time to understand clients needs fully before making recommendations. Too often, legal firms simply take instructions from clients, without delving sufficiently into their personal situation and family relationships. Our clients often comment that our service is more in-depth than anything they have experienced before - and they appreciate that.

Why should our clients choose you?

We are experienced, trustworthy, reliable and professional. We always try to put our clients at ease, and explain everything to them in a language that is easy for them to understand. As a result, our clients often recommend us to their friends, relatives, work colleagues and others. Our clients, when governments permit, like the idea of being able to discuss these important matters in the relaxed comfort and privacy of their own home.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Yes. If clients have access to the various video platforms available, e.g. Zoom, Skype etc. in-depth telephone conversation to discuss requirements etc.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

We strictly follow government guidelines to ensure that all our clients are kept safe from COVID-19, e.g. minimising our physical visit to one signing/witnessing call as appropriate, and maintaining social distancing and ensuring the wearing of quality face masks.
