Angela organised our 10 year wedding anniversary party. Celebration was held in Novosibirsk - my hometown, but most guests were arriving from Norway, because me and my husband living there. I really wanted to show to my guests from Norway Siberia and how we celebrate such an event, because it is totally different. It was a wonderful celebration! Angela and her team created a scenario, which was in English and Russian , so all guest understand everything. The programm was full of fun. We had a professional ballroom dancers and all guests just love them!! Everything was organised to perfection! Beautiful venue, delicious food, live cooking show with a chef, a surprise- dancing waiters and fire show with fireworks at the end!Our friend still remember this trip and that day! Amazing!!! I love working together with each bride to bring about their vision for the day. It is collaborative effort, and one that is extremely rewarding and satisfying to see the end result. First and foremost I like to get a feel of the colour scheme and perhaps hints of what they do like, which is almost as important as what they don't.
There are so many mediums to work with at present in terms of fresh, faux and dried and also a mixture so whatever the brides style or the venue, there is something creative that can be put together that makes them stand out from the crowd, but more importantly reflects their personalities.
I have had my own business in floristry from the age of 19 through to present and seen the styles evolve over the years. I have travelled extensively and lived in South Africa, Spain and the UK where I practiced floristry and bring that influence and extensive experience in the industry to my work. My style follows eco friendly principles and I love the more natural look however I am flexible in working with the bride to bring her vision to fruition.
Thankfully many brides have in the past chosen me to make their flower for their special day. I fully appreciate it is one of the most important days of their lives so it is important to be trustworthy and be able to communicate and be easy to work with to bring about and deliver their desires, wants and needs for their wedding day. It is an honour to play such an integral part of their day, one I do not take light. Yes, If the flowers are faux or dried I can post off or courier the wedding flowers to your location. I have even had brides as far away as Ireland before and the very nature of the material that they are made of ensures that they can be made and prepared in advance of the wedding date, which alleviates an already pressured day.
With the benefit of zoom/WhatsApp a video call can easily be arranged to initially discuss the brides vision and requirements and it is simple and effective to keep in touch regularly and keep everyone updated.
